McCrystal couldn't even keep his mouth shut around a reporter. He deservers to be removed. This isn't the first time. A man who can't behave himself shouldn't be in command of a war.

Let's dredge up some of those obama and biden speeches in the senate from 2007 where they called Petraeus a failure. I was listening to them last night, and it is quite "interesting" how the two of them could get from their words in 2007 to their words today.

Oh, and let's not forget the moveon.org (leftist mouthpiece) ad from back then that called him General "Betrayus". Bet they're singing a different tune today in defense of their "messiah's" choice for the new military commander in afghanistan, as well.

The stench of hypocrisy is very strong today from the White House ...

Edit to add just one example:

MSNBC Article from 2007

WASHINGTON - President Bush's war strategy is failing and the top military commander in Iraq is "dead flat wrong" for warning against major changes, the Democratic chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee said Sunday.

In what should come as a shock to no one. The official report on the incident has been posted and none of the claims made by the article about him could be proven:

Just thought some folks here might like to read that. If someone else already posted (I did attempt to search before I came up with this) please delete.
