In an interview with the BBC, a BP employee leveled an explosive claim Monday: that he and other Deepwater Horizon rig workers discovered a leak in the well's blowout preventer weeks before the fateful accident that sank the platform, killing 11 and causing oil to begin leaking into the gulf in the worst environmental disaster in U.S. history.

Anderson 360 will be interviewing Tyrone in just a few moments...

First off.. this man looks incredibly pensive...

He knew several weeks before that the BOP was at possible risk of failure...

He found a leak... and instead of properly fixing the leak... officials at both BP and trans-ocean decided not to repair it...

The solution is to immediately close of the well... raise the BOP

determine what the issue was... and fix it...

Instead they turned off one control pod... and just ran on one..

He's currently suing BP as well ...

Transocean says they don't know what he's talking about... and they are "still investigating and dont know what went wrong" - [yeah right]
