If I guessed correctly, that broken link is actually a mind reader. You take a two digit number, add those, and subtract that from the first two digit number. Then, you locate your # on a chart, and each # has a symbol with it.
Then, you hit OK or whatever, and your symbol pops up.
Amazing, cause you just had to think of the symbol, not click or anything.

The trick is that any two digit you add, and the subtract from that # will be a multiple of 9.
Example: 33... 3+3=6 33-6= 27 (3x9=27)

Then, when you go back to try again, all the symbols for the multiples of 9 are changed, so you wont have the same symbol.
