I am starting to become very concerned that when they release the latest video it can have major consequences.

Not because I am against the truth being exposed, it SHOULD be, but does anyone else feel like when more of these cables are released our access to it will be in jeapordy?

I state this due to the fact over the last few days we've heard alot more about the government wanting control of the internet, is something like this, under the guise of "threat to national security" going to make it EASIER for them to push this through?

Think about this, besides OBL when the government wants to find someone, they find them. Yesterday I commented that I was surprised Assange hadn't been found, or murdered yet.

Well maybe thats because they WANT him to release a few more of these videos so that Obama and his sock puppets can go "SEE SEE WE NEED TO CONTROL THE INTERNET BECAUSE THIS THREATENS NATIONAL SECURITY!"

Without the internet, the truth about BP would not be coming out and they would be able to keep making denials about what's really happening due to the cutoff of shared info.

I fully expect that when this wikileaks thing explodes they are going to use it as the patriot act of 2010, rights? what rights? THIS AIN'T AMERICA! This is ObamaWorld and what Obama wants, he gets!

I guess the whole story about the pentagon hunting for assange is pretty much a whole bunch of publicity for wikileaks. Intentional? Maybe so, or maybe they just wanted to scare him. Honestly, who the hell knows? I swear I think it's TBTB's goal to make the public as confused as possible...

I've always found it ironic that when Wikileaks actually does what it's supposed to have done in the first place, it causes an uproar, well duh...lol
You can't have shameful and murderous secrets and turn around thumbing your nose at the rest of the world from some pretended moral high ground. Llike I told alot of the freemasons on this board before I quit posting in the SS forum, there are no secrets, only the insidious practices of secrecy.
We sit back and let them put up cameras on every street corner, monitor our internet and telecommunications, keep a watchful eye on all our financial doings and even our shopping habbits, but when it comes to keeping an eye on the folks we pay to run things for us, what do we get? Untold Trillions in black budget projects, so many intelligence, national security institutions and law enforcement agencies doing god knows what around the world to further corporate and occultic interests... it's a sickness that derives from our ancient acceptance of the class based system.
Demand transparency, let's put cameras in senators' offices and listen in on their phone conversations, and see how they like it. If it takes something like Wikileaks to spill a few beans, then more power to them.

I've often had day dreams of making a magical recording of all the major events in a in "powerful" persons life. Scenes of ritual abuse and secret conversations for the world to see - until I've figured out how to live as a 5th dimensional being its only a pipe dream for now *sigh*

We have "Toliet Cams" on porn sites, doesn't seem to me to be too much of a leap in technology to have "Senator Cam"... Can you imagine if these bozos were under the same srcutiny as their constiuency?

If you think that wikileaks release triggers internet censorship/ban and maybe its better off not released.

There already freespeech is compromised. If internet is not useful and if doesnt facilitate for whistleblowers than it need not be.

Fear is our only weakness, It is their(TPTB) only weapon,,,,

Any kind of serious resistance against the ruling institutions will carry with it consequences for the populace. Instead of an armed guerilla revolution forcing the government to activate marshal law, you have highly sensitive information being leaked online forcing the government to regulate that medium of transfer, the internet.

It really comes down to whether or not the risk is worth it, whether or not that particular resistance will do more harm than it will prevent. In the case of Wikileaks, they have the potential to do something historical, but as yet, it hasn't been done. People already know that the occupations in Iraq and Afghanistan are illegal, most people already know there are many civilians killed everyday, what Wikileaks revealed really didn't cause some kind of large scale mental shift, rather just placed themselves in the middle of the government crosshairs and the rest of us with them.

With Wikileaks, I think its really a case of 'lets wait it out' and see what happens. Could they do more harm than good? Yes, of course, but at this stage, its a risk we should be willing to take.
