DPS Board Pres. Resigns After Sexual Allegations

School board members refused Friday to reinstate the group's former president, who resigned a day earlier following allegations he fondled himself repeatedly in front of the district's general superintendent.
The board members gave Otis Mathis a letter stating his request for reinstatement has been denied.
Vice President Anthony Adams said Friday that Mathis submitted a letter of resignation to the board Thursday afternoon -- the same day district Superintendent Teresa Gueyser filed a complaint of improper behavior.

What’s going on here? Is he trying to be a stand-up kind of guy in front of the districts General Superintendent? Trying to get a head in his career? Or is he a public pervert that has direct exposure to hundreds of school children?

This type of disgusting behavior must stop, but it’s getting no help from what should be a responsible male role model. The mixed or sick signals that our children receive must be eliminated if we are going to correct the behavior of our next generation.

This type of "leadership" really explains a lot in the poor quality of public education today here in the US.

Stopping it is the first step in improving education. Filling these roles with caring, responsible members of the community is the next.

These jobs can be taken from them. Please get involved, find out when elections are held and who is running.
