I Will Devote My Life

I cannot stand this anymore. it sickens me, the state this world is in, this world i have been born into. I see no reason for any of the troubles we are forced to go through in this day & age.

My name is Anthony and i am 19 Years old, I live on the gulf coast near tampa, and i have a G.E.D. and 4 1/2 years working experience. I am from a catholic family that migrated to the united states from Italy. My Great grandparents are from Italy. me, I am a Florida Boy, theres nowhere else id want to be. Florida, To me, Is the Italy of the West. And also a perfect example of a true melting pot. We have many races, living and working together in our everyday lives in harmony. of course there are some bad apples, but every tree has a few bad apples.

Whell enough About me. I just wanted to Post this for the world to see, my life plan.

I will Devote my life, To make this world a better place. By any means necessary.
Starving should not be a problem,
Energy should not be a Problem,
Genocide should not be a problem,
and Etc.,,

The only possible problems that should exist in this World Are Language barriers, And Cultural Differences. Even with language barriers and cultural differences there can be peace, Culture Has no reason to start Wars. Language barriers can be Broken Through.

I Dont know where to start, there is so much that needs to be done. but again, I cannot stand it Anymore. I have to do something before it truly is too late for all of us. My Generation has the chance to change the world and we need to seize it. We need to grab ahold of that chance and not let go until its pryed from our Cold Dead Hands. Worldwide Freedom , and Liberty, And happiness. That is the Truth . The Truth is that its possible. That we can achive this goal. i truly believe my Generation is the mist important Generation to ever walk this earth. There are Reasons for this.

My Generation Will Most Likely Be the generation to Send us to outerspace, The Generation, That realizes theres more to our existence than just Bound By Gravity.
We could harvest resources from Outer-Space, And completely End The Suffering of Humanity.

we all know this is true, we cannot play ignorance anymore.

we have the technology, The manpower, The Resources, and the Sheer Human Will to get the job Done.

I say no more.
even if i have to work Overtime for the rest of my lif i will contribute as much as i can. Not only in this life but in the next, if i become a spirit i hope to be a spirit of pure love, for i am love incarnate.

life is only temporary.

Death is immortality.
Have no Fear, For Fear will chain you down, Have only Love for Love is Truth and Truth.....

Will Set you free.

You are a good man Anthony, it is rare to find people in your age bracket that even care enough to read about the problems in the world let alone become committed to solving world problems. Good luck in your adventure.

I'm willing to help you, I'm willing to join you. I have scoured my mind for answers to this for years, I cannot find those answers. It is so hard to help others, it is so hard to change them. And then if you changed them, they would no longer be the same people you set out to help. We are incredibly fortunate just to have what we have.

Many have a lot to be thankful for, they just ignore it and push to get something better. Though all the time they were in a situation that had the potential for unbridled happiness. On any day I've been truly happy, I've been met with more opposition than makes sense. I've found it best to hide my happiness.

It is very tricky, and it seems conventional thought does not hold the key.

I wish we could find a way to live in harmony (edit: in synergy) with nature, no substitutes, but society is nowhere near this, it's still moving in the opposite direction.

What do we do? Even your theories would be a breath of fresh air, excellent post friend.

thanks you guys. yes i agree people my age Dont have a clue what is going on. that is why i honestly left school early. They teach only what they've been told to teach. School was my most horrifying time in my life. learning the same exact things, day after day, years after years..

so many things have gone unnoticed, and people my age are oblivious.
but they just need to be made more aware.

and you are right novise, as for me, i am very grateful for the things i have, because i know people out there do not have and may never have the experiences, and luxury's that i have taken for granted most of my life.

ive never had a religous experience/ or out of body experieince or anything of that nature. but i dont feel thats required.

i feel, That we should not always rely on Religion to solve our problems when our problems Can be easily solved Here on earth with our own hands.

You are right that OOBE/religious experience are not required. We could all change this world in a heartbeat just by treating eachother with respect. Next comes treating eachother with love. It is so true that we have it within us to do truly great things. We have so much potential, but then it is so discouraging to see others with great minds use their minds to topple and step on others for their own gain. A little competition is not a problem, but to see people compete in such a nasty spirit, a cutthroat society, is very heartbreaking. And it's often not even government or corporate, it's simply face to face, person to person, crushing one another(s) spirit (edit).

it doesn't make sense. why would you want to be remembered as someone who instilled fear into people?

When you could easily earn the respect and admiration of entire populaces just by Being a Decent Person.

But then again, i also feel bad for those who do not like to share... Because money doesnt Buy true happiness.

I live in the gulf too....keep you r faith and your family tradition. You are a good person. Find other people with faith and you will have a beautiful life. Your faith tells you how the story ends...stay good and you will Win!

Just wnat to add that I agree whole heartedly with you sentiments, and from one dreamer to another I wish you all the luck in the world, to make it a better place. (before you sell your soul to the corporations) heheh anyway!

Just want to ask a serious question.

You say that you want to bring freedom and liberty to the world. OK that's great, but isn't that an American Ideal? What about those cultures that really just wish to be left alone to do their thing.

Do we need to push our western beliefs on them just because we disagree with how they live their lives?

isn't that which has been happening these last 20 or so years, and which ironically has resulted in nothing but war, divisiveness, and blood shed.

i would quote the Film Avatar, when he says. (paraphrase)

"Are we going to convince them to leave their homes for Blue Jeans and light beer. We have nothing they want"

Also is it not true that Freedom. True FREEDOM is the ability to live your life as you see fit, free from the outside influence of other. Would that not also apply to the West's outlook on the rest of the world.

i agree. within the last year ive slowly been disconnecting myself from negative influences like drugs, Fighting, And Highschool Drama that i have no part in. but that means i also am disconnected with previous friends,

one day i hope to return to my previous friends and become a positive influence for them.

i believe that if a nation wants to truly be left alone, And as long as they arn't a threat to others, then they should have full freedom and liberty to be alone.

I agree trying to force our way of life upon people doesnt seem to work effectively. i think other nations should be allowed to develop on their own, and recive aid/help if they want it.


edit: also, it is more important what the people of a nation wants over the Government of a Nation. unless The people are okay with there system of government.

I do not believe this to be true. Consider two friends and neighbors who speak the same language and come from the same culture. Lock them together in a cage with no food and water, and watch what happens. Hint: it won't be pretty.

Great post and its awesome to see others willing to offer themselves. Its sad to see that a post like this...gets less flags then the posts that are full of fear and driven by a need to 'leave' Earth.

Its great to cross paths with another, who is willing.

Very rare form of being, you are (and the others who feel the same desires and nature within them).

I think the largest shift to occur, will be in the minds of men....not anything physical, like actions and deeds...but a major shifting in the mindset of mankind. This posts, and others like it, give me hope.

Don't lose that idealism. It is far too easy to forget. Get an education, take advantage of everything you can be it school, clubs, etc. to give you a breadth of experience. Record this post somewhere, so if you ever lose that fire you can rekindle it.

Anthony, your insight, love and compassion is an inspiration and breath of fresh air. I agree that the world doesn't have to be this way. It is insane that money, power and greed have more importance than human lives. The ways of mankind must change drastically. We need to nurture humans, our planet and all that it holds. I wish you the courage and strength you'll need. I wish you peace and love. I stand beside you.
