Interestingly enough GMC Truck which is now a division of General Motors was originally owned by two Polish American brothers named Max and Boris Grabowski. GMC actually stands for the Grabowski Motor Coach Company.

In the thirties they made a heavy duty truck that they named the Blitz (Lightening) for its speed.

They sold many of them to Nazi Germany.

The term Blitzkrieg is actually derived from the mechanized swiftness of German Ground Troops deploying in the GMC Blitz truck!

So even the term Blitzkrieg has its roots in American business and not Nazi Germany, in one of histories great ironies though, the term Blitzkrieg was coined when German troops were attacking Max and Boris’s native Poland!

If we were to ever learn the real truths behind both World War I and World War II there would be little chance anyone would even think about fighting in World War III and we can’t have that now can we?

thats right, i was gonna talk about last night too but thought i shouldnt change the subject. there was at least 300,000 black confederte troops
both freemen and slaves.some slaves were froced to service, others went on thier own because they loved the people that owned them.
one example is bill yopp, he was a slave who went to war with his owner lt thomas yopp and servered with untill the end. years after when lt yopp was in a veterns home bill found him and took care of him until his death.

and most people dont know that some free blacks owned slavesbut thats a whole other can of worms
the US Civil war was not started over slaverly, it was about trade and the laws that the industrailized north wanted passed to control the agriclutural south, slaverly became of later on as the north kept pushing for the laws.
