June 28 -- "BP was today forced to deny reports that Tony Hayward, its gaffe-prone chief executive, was about to announce his resignation.

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Igor Sechin, who is meeting with Hayward in Moscow today, told a press conference this morning that he expected the CEO would soon step down."
