Is the gulf temp rising because of volcano under sea floor

Just wandering if the water temp in the gulf is rising because of the deep drilling of BP. Here is a site to check; seems interesting.

that makes very interesting reading, particularly, why isnt there any year round information available for most places, is it so the rise isnt as noticable.

Key west is at 90.7 degrees, thats like a rise of 7 degrees, thats alot in the space of a year, a hurricaine would grow so much feeding off of these temperatures.

yes it is very strange --could the rise in temp just be because of summer , i dont think so. The eastern part of the gulf is hotter than the west.

This is why the NWS predicted a busier hurricaine season. and this came out before the oil disaster.

Upper atmospheric winds conducive for storms. Wind shear, which can tear apart storms, will be weaker since El Niño in the eastern Pacific has dissipated. Strong wind shear helped suppress storm development during the 2009 hurricane season.
Warm Atlantic Ocean water. Sea surface temperatures are expected to remain above average where storms often develop and move across the Atlantic. Record warm temperatures – up to four degrees Fahrenheit above average – are now present in this region.
High activity era continues. Since 1995, the tropical multi-decadal signal has brought favorable ocean and atmospheric conditions in sync, leading to more active hurricane seasons. Eight of the last 15 seasons rank in the top ten for the most named storms with 2005 in first place with 28 named storms.

I find it strange that there is no temp. info for Grand Isle.
Unless I'm not reading the chart correctly.

There are plenty of volcano's in the gulf------this taken from the site i will list below-----


Underwater volcanoes that spew asphalt instead of lava: they were discovered in the Gulf of Mexico during an expedition of the research vessel SONNE, led by Prof. Gerhard Bohrmann of the DFG Research Center Ocean Margins. On these volcanoes the multinational team of scientists encountered a previously unknown highly diverse ecosystem at a water depth of 3,000 meters. The prominent scientific journal Science reports the spectacular discovery in its issue of 14 May 2004.

I can vouch for this.....It's ungodly hot down here....I'm starting to beleive with everything that's going on down here that we are living in Hell.
