When a hurricane roars through the Gulf, the oil rigs are shut down, and the price per barrel of oil goes up.
It doesn't matter if the actual supply is affected, the speculators run the ppb up.
Already, I've seen the prices of gas jump up to $3.00 per gallon.
And many are speculating that it will go to $6 to $8 gallon.
I think this could collapse the economy because the backs of the truckers has almost already been broken.
This could be the final straw.
I think Obama also needs to put a temporary moritorium on raising oil prices too, or open up the Nations reserves to keep the prices down.
