Oil leaks, money leaks and goodness know what else make for a lot of doom and gloom. Indeed many of the threads here on ATS are made up of doom and
gloom not always directly sometimes indirectly.
The point is, is it in our mind or is it real?. We make a situation from our mental attitudes from the very way we think. If we drive to work and are
in a hurry then you can be sure the lights will be red and the more we don't want red lights the more red lights we will encounter. In the old days
before GPS we may have needed to read a map we would hope to get a red light just to have the chance to gimps at our road map but what would happen
green lights. Wishing not to have the green or red would have the opposite effect.
Wishing to have doom and gloom go away will only strengthen what we don't want we should all be focusing on the "positive capping of the oil spill"
focusing on seeing it happen not on the list of failures and the expectant failure. Focus on a stronger economy an economy getting better by the day,
not on expecting the index going down.
Okay some may think I'm mad, well perhaps so I don't care. Perhaps in reality its only happening to me and your not real. Then indeed I should be
practising what I preached above.
If quantum theories are anywhere near true we should be able to branch off our little world to something - well more pleasant.
Just thoughts
Cheers
