Hobby Rocket Hits UFO

Those who went through the childhood phase of building and launching model rockets will remember the excitement of putting the device together, role-playing the countdown in a fantasy NASA launch, and ultimately pressing the ignition button launching the rocket sky high only to see it fall to the ground moments later in a flurry of childhood excitement. This excitement, however, was replaced by terror according to one report coming out of MUFON telling of a birthday rocket launch that would end with a close encounter with a flying saucer. The witness submitting the report told that the event happened on his birthday, after he and his father went out to a field in rural Texas late at night with seven built rockets with glow-sticks cracked and shaken up and emitting various colors. After taping the glow-sticks to the rockets, they set up their launch pad quickly and began launching the rockets off one by one. The first flew up and gave off a spectacular show as it fell back to the Earth. The next to went into the night sky with similar success. It wasn't until the fourth object that the witnesses all stood in amazement.

My Comments
I found this article very interesting, especially the bit about the rocket being suspended on something in the sky and then a ufo dematerializing. If its true i am astonished by this very different sighting.

Its a nice change to the normal sighting so thought i would share.

Cool story, though there's nothing there to substantiate it besides the rocket, if they ever manage to find it. What I find cool about it is it's the very first incident that I'm aware of, where ANYthing was reported to make physical contact with a UFO. It is interesting food for thought about how their technology works.

While cloaked, it was still interacting with its physical environment. It had to uncloak to start moving away. Implies an imperfect intelligence but that is assuming it was unintentional.

The person who wrote the article made some interesting points too. The chances of a random UFO being cloaked at that exact point in space are astronomical. It could have been intentional, a "show" of some sort for an unclear motive. The point of many UFOs seems merely to be to get us thinking about them, letting us know that they ARE here.

But if that is the strategy, what is the motive behind it? Obviously they're not coming out in the open and that could be due to the possibility of panic. It also could be more complex, which wouldn't surprise me at all. Or maybe they simply feel a bond with certain earthlings.

What would that show though if they find the rocket?

How do you prove it landed on a UFO for a second? lol

Interesting.

It kind of reminds me of when we had a rocketfest at the observatory for the kids...

No UFO or anything...

But on the last night of launches in the field..
One boy set up his rocket with a glow stick on it,
and proceeded to launch it.

For some reason.. and no one knows why...
but after his rocket reached its peak altitude~
The glowstick "went out" and we didnt see his rocket again!

We looked and looked, but no one saw it come back down,
and no one could find it anywhere the next day..
but all other rockets were recovered. lol

Seriously, the glow stick just seemed to "go out" and the rocket seemed to "disappear"
weird. lol

Interesting read.

I'm wondering what there is exactly to investigate in this story. I could come out and say that a UFO is uncloaking in front of my house but other than my word there really is nothing to look into.

The cloaking part is very interesting. It gives me the impression that there could be thousands of UFO's suspended in the air, studying us and our environment and we would never be the wiser

I've read on this site that the military is around 25-30 years ahead of the general public in regards to technology. Could this possibly be some type of military tech? Maybe they're testing it for unknown reasons. Although that wouldn't explain why the object had to uncloak before moving as this would probably be undesirable for the military.

Also, the entire story could be fabricated. I guess we'll never know

Wouldn't it be funny if the Aliens took this as an aggressive act of war and promptly destroyed the earth ??

haha, Maybe if they were Americans from the future.

Actualy there are a number or reports of human beings interacting with UFO, by that I mean touching them, and in rare cases entering them . Of course none can be proven fact, but in terms of this incident being the first to feature physical interaction with a craft, I can say without doubt that this is an error.

There was other news about the same time that got
'dished' such as the cell phone video from an airliner
of a 'missile' of some type.

There might be a feeling that this story might be bogus or
a deliberate attempt to make overshadowing news to
hide the illuminati.

So the 'dishwasher' cleaned up the news but most likely said don't
go there go here instead.

Where are these agents now to clean up the Gulf.

I saw a youtube video a while back of a high school football game (not soccer) and the quarterback threw the football and it seemed to bounce off something in mid air which made it go a bit further to where the receiver could catch it, it was so blatant and obvious that it reminded me of that movie angels in the outfield.
I wish I could find it again.
