What a great thread.

I also have used 'Wake up !' The big picture.

I did so because I have the opinion something has to be done.
Strangely enough nobody really debates on possible solutions.

The big picture is sometimes necessary to see because a decision based on a small detail could have the opposite effect.

The particular subject I did use the above 'violations' people should stop, dead in their tracks. I'm also spreading it outside of ATS.

So... As much as I agree with you here. It does not apply to everyone.

A lot of really good posts get lost in the shuffle. Provacative headlines get more results than factual ones. This is why the news indusrtries use the as well as bloggers and ATS posters. Responding to an emotional post is easier than responding to a factual one as there's not much research involved. It's to easy to go to the recent post page and get tied up in those than to go to the individual topic pages. Maybe the answer is in how we use this site. We only encourage these types of threads when we respond to them.

Exactly! It's funny to see how title's of the current top threads grab the reader through usage of *** or CAPSLOCKING ONE WORD or.... exclamation marks!!!!
