2-year visitor, just joined today!

Hi! I'm Rachel, and I have been a religious reader of ATS for two years, but I've never posted on ATS until tonight! I'm not sure why I didn't become a member until now, but I've got a spiffy new avatar and am ready to wrangle with the message boards!

I have many things on my mind, and am ready to let it all flow through my fingers! I love to follow the alternative news, and 2012 discussions. I'll do my best to not ask stupid questions, or post a topic, when someone else has already devoted a whole thread to the subject.

I'm a 27-year-old married lady living and working in southern Kentucky. I'm just trying to find answers people! ATS rocks my socks

Kentucky is doing okay. Lots of unemployment, but not as bad as other parts of the nation.

I just had to say how much I love your avatar--that is truly awesome. I'm a Battlestar Galactica nut--the REAL one from the 80's. I know the new stuff is good, but just doesn't do it for me. I grew up in an age without DVD's, and even VCR's were uncommon. When Star Wars was done in the theatre, there was nothing else to do but wait several years for the next one to come out. Battlestar Galactica nursed me through those times.

Hi Rachel, I did the same, lurking for about a year, but I came to a realization that ATS is filled with many intellects and not enough nutters, so I decided to join to even the playing field a little.

It's important to maintain a certain balance, because life is all about balance

Welcome and I hope you enjoy this great site with it's many many wonderful Members as much as I do.
