Ableton Live (or Suite if you want the full-on version) is a good program for that sort of thing. It's can
be used like a virtual turntables and mixer setup. You can load two or more audio clips and crossfade between/among them.
Live or Suite plus the Launchpad should get you started.
If you're gonna be doing the real thing, you're gonna need a couple of
Technics 1200's and a decent DJ mixer.
