Like any good wife, Nancy definitely has a mind of her own. She is well educated, bright, experienced and probably the most fair minded person I know. All to say she is not in the slightest bit cowed by the views of her husband. So, when driving home yesterday afternoon after going to that Summit 'explanation meeting', I was surprised by her reaction to the proceedings.

Before I get into that and before you crucify me for being negative let me state up front that I think it is immensely important to have a forum for world leaders to discuss and try to resolve world issues. There is

This is a great local website to get the real news on what is taking place in Huntsville Ontario in preparation for the G-8 Summit soon to be followed by the G-20.

It disgusts me, not only the waste of money but how our leadership. The Canadian Government has the intellectualism of a spineless rat. I love it how you don't know the details until the fact comes to be because if the public were actually part of the process rather than being on the sidelines, no way this would have been approved.

It is such a joke its not even funny. Fascism? or maybe just our leaders kissing ass to TPTB.

The site is really good, and I suggest reading other articles as this is one of many that focus' on the G-8.

I apologize for this not being a tight professional thread, it is my first actual thread. I just wanted to point us all in this direction.


Basically, the local residents of Huntsville Ontario are being the real journalist of the world and pointing out what a joke the UN and world at large have become. Let's take the power back and be more productive. Why oh why don't they just teleconference.
