In Revelation it is written "And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man..."

People may assume this has something to do with the oil spill, but they are wrong. Dead wrong!

You see God knows everything. So when He wrote about a second angel pouring a vial upon the sea, and the sea turning to blood. He meant that. Sooner or later a second angel is going to pour a vial into a sea. Why is that so difficult to understand?

If this part of the revelation was referring to the oil spill, God would have said: And BP is going royally screw up a drilling operation. There's going to be lots of oil everywhere. Gas prices are going to go up and a lot of fisherman will be pissed off.

The God who knows all, didn't even mention "BP" or "Oil" or even "Obama" anywhere in his prediction. So it would be pretty silly to assume the man upstairs, who knows all that has, is, and will happen was referring to BP and the oil spill. If He was, He would have written that down.

God does not like to be paraphrased. He chooses his words very carefully.

As far as the real prediction for the oil spill, this was predicted in the early 80s by an Earth-band, I believe you all know them as Def Leppard. Those prophets said:

It's better to burn out. Then fade away

Pffft!!! You've got it completely backwards. TPTB are creating disasters that mimic Revelations to fool people like you into believing that the "end times" are upon us. They're doing this to keep you busy while the Anunnaki and the Rothschilds evacuate themselves and their favored servants to their underground bases here on Earth and on Mars. They've done it before, and they will do it again. Like the saying goes, if you have to ask if you're going to be taken care of when Nibiru's gravity makes the Earth and Sun go crazy, you're not. Bring on the mohawks and spiked football pads.

I'm sorry but I have to disagree. If God said BP is going to really screw up an oil drilling operation then believing would be too easy. Faith would be eliminated.

It is good to look at things and try to understand them. Things that are going on now are very confusing.

Right or wrong I appreciate your analysis of this situation.

going to have to disagree.... see u can not tell someone that thier dead wrong just because it's your opinion on what's said in the bible. what happened did GOD speak to you? did he whisper in your ear that the BP oil spill dosnt corelate with the sea turning red? lol come on guy.... most of the bible is very hard to understand ad I beileve that most of it is metaphors.... and think of it this way.. and maybe it will make a lil more sense.

Oh no, everybody converting to christianity, isn't that what you want?
Isn't that what God wants?

Yes but the main point is faith:firm belief in something for which there is no proof. If God said BPs gonna cause the ocean to become red with oil faith is no longer needed because the bible would then be proven right.

I'm not saying I agree with the OP or any opinions put forth in this thread, but I would like to remind everyone that a dead man's blood is brown, not red.

Yes and I'm saying why does God require this little tidbit? He could end all the religious violence in the world if he simply spoke literally.

King James Bible

And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood;

bible.cc...

The prophets were shown visions and back then they had no idea what a burning oil rig would look like. This could be it.

To someone living in that time seeing a huge rig wrapped in fire on-top of the sea and then going into it could have interpreted it this way, not to mention the oil looking just like blood. What happens if another rig is purposely blown like this one was? Most of the sea will die if they don't get them under control now.

I would not discount this being a sign just yet, I'm not saying it is but since it was done to stop drilling, by TPTB to put oil prices higher and ruin our food supply I would not doubt it.

The OP is taking the words to literal, we all know the Angels cant pour our war from a vial. Its symbolic as the Angels are doing the blessing of GOD for our misdeeds.

OP you are forgetting that revelations was shown to John, it has never been claimed that God "wrote it" himself. Like others have said, it was shown to John and he couldn't make even close rationalizations of what he was seeing compared to someone of our time period.

(Revelation 11:18) NWT:
"and to bring to ruin those ruining the earth". . .
or for the KJV fans :
(Rev 11:18) "shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth"

oh....won't that be nice

The second angel sounded his trumpet, and something like a huge mountain, all ablaze, was thrown into the sea.

I never really thought about a burning rig being something like a great mountain but that thing was huge. Cast into the sea could be a reference to it sinking. All speculation of course. I can see it being seen as a great mountain burning with fire.

A third of the sea turned into blood,

This could be in reference to the reddish color of the oil on the water. I always wondered how the water would turn to blood. It could be explained by crude oil floating on its surface. It's unclear at this time how 1/3 of the sea would be affected.

third of the living creatures in the sea died

Seems obvious if 1/3 of the sea is covered in oil.

and a third of the ships were destroyed.

This is the most mysterious part to me. Does this mean that we quit offshore drilling and scrap all these ships or does it imply that they are destroyed as in sunk? Unclear.
