Sources tell News 4, DPS officers found a suspicious abandoned vehicle. That's when they called in bomb crews to inspect it.

Oh, Lord............look at the traffic, already!

The article does say that the issue is near Nogales, which is a border town, so, this should be interesting to follow.

It opened back up earlier today.

Vehicle harmless


Interstate 19 is open again today after closing for several hours last night because of a suspcious abandoned vehicle.

According to the Department of Public Safety, northbound Interstate 19 at KM 22 near north Rio Rico was closed because of the bomb scare.

It caused major traffic headaches, but the vehicle was towed without incident. DPS says the vehicles appears to be harmless.
