I don't think this is really about fighting islam. The US is beginning to realize that the only solution may indeed be two states and dividing the capital. This may be the first step in achieving something.

Israel's blockade is very harsh, if you look at the statistics of israeli's killed and palestinians killed, it is obvious who is the real victim (ie the Palestenians). The neighbor countries, jordan, lebanon, syria dont allow them entry. And then Israel doesn't allow in supplies, so you see if you corner even the most harmless little animal they will eventually bite.

How come before 1948 you didnt hear of muslim terrorists on the media..well because this has all been manufactured, you drop phosphorus into gaza, kill flotilla people, bulldoze homes...yea you are going to get a backlash understandingly. The media then takes that backlash and purposely labels it as the inciting event.

Also what is so controversial about having someoen in the white house who is sympathetic to the palestianians? Most of the people in the white house are already sympathetic towards israel and you have a few people who have differing views and you label and single them out...kinda like wearing a star of someone who was a different race..ring a bell...
