Yup, it was DIA. There's plenty of alleged Indian burial ground, and associated legends, out that way. I think some could be true, but there's a lot
of nonsense too. Several years ago, I actually debunked one of them... The legend was that a certain area was haunted/cursed Indian burial ground and
you could hear their drums if you went out there late at night, so we checked it out. Sure enough, we heard this faint noise that sounded like and
Indian drum. Then we decided to find the source of it, and we eventually came across a natural gas pumping rig in the middle of a field that was
emitting a pop on every revolution. A friend took a picture of it and that was the end of that legend.
As for the DIA conspiracy theories, I really haven't seen anything conspiracy-worthy out that way... Yeah, they have some weird murals and stuff
inside, plus the giant freaky horse (which is anatomically correct) with glowing red eyes outside, but if that's some secret NWO conspiracy or
whatever, why would you make an exhibit out of it? And what useful purpose does that really serve? I just don't see a reason to go around flaunting
something that's a massive worldwide secret conspiracy, so I just can't buy that theory. My feeling is that we just have people with some strange
tastes in this state, and that's why there's weird stuff out there; that is consistent with other stuff in this state.
The only DIA theory I've heard that makes sense is it being a decent strategic location in case SHTF... I haven't seen anything that leads me to
believe there's underground stuff going on, but it seems like a decent location in general... We're far away from coasts and national borders, and
there are plenty of nearby resources and infrastructure. There are also a number of abandoned underground Titan missile silos out that way, which may
be suitable as shelters.
