Thats what im talking aout... u say that its bad enought right now , im sure they will nucke it because nothing else would work. but nucklear explosian radiates and it would create a tsunami.and its not impossible that it would make the hole biger! but the US goverment will hope that it would melt the rock in the hole... but presure might do bad
haha it remindes me of the pible a bit... judgment day...." The world shal burn up"

Well what i have heard is they arent going to use a full blown Terminator style nuke but just a smaller one. The video i saw about the older well they sealed with this strategy it didnt move rock and mud into the hole but rather bent the pipe with such extreme pressure that it sealed the pipe shut. Now as for the radiation in the water and whatnot i dont know how they would address that because i agree that is a big BIG problem. I can hear it now....

*News Man: Well the hole from the deepwater well was finally plugged today

*American people: YAY!! Finally everything is back to normal!

*News Man: The only problem now is we have mutant fish, shrimp the size of the shrimping boats and all the water is going to be hazardous for the next 455 years, but hey at least the oil is gone!

*American people: Awwwww.....thats no good at all!

I do see the points being made but i was just simply stating the facts that i had heard....hope everything works out in the end tho, this is a terrible thing that has happened. I am just glad Bush isnt president now because everyone in the US would be crying for his blood....kind of like they did with Katrina....they said a storm that is a creation of nature or HAARP (watever you believe) was his fault....not sure how that math adds up but im getting off topic....hope the above clears up everything

i agree that its horible whats happening but havent we deserved to be whiped out? yeah the pipe bending can hapen if the pipe is in soft ground but it is in rock there... so no beniding .. we dont need a full scale nuclear explosion to make things worst... a tsunami would # everything up. but yeah i think we have deserved this... mark my words , this is the begining of the end... we have #ed up planet earth , its natures turn tu kick us in the balls..

Grrrrrrrrrr, I live between Gulport and Biloxi, and the oil is now hitting the beaches. I just got home from grocery shopping, having to grab only a few things because once again, I got a nose bleed, which is something I haven't had in decades, but 3 times this week? We are also having massive amounts of rain, everyday.

Also, talking to the caretaker of the property, he said the expensive diamond cutting tool that is now being used, is stuck. Haven't seen that on ATS, yet, do you all know?

This frustrates me to know end, I am going to the Dr., if I get another nose bleed this week!

I WANT ANSWERS, DAMMIT!

Your nosebleeds are being caused by the breathing in of toxic fumes.

This could take years to correct. Might be a good idea to move.

You live BETWEEN Gulfport and Biloxi....how is that? Do you live in the midde of Debuys Rd? I know the area, where are you talking about? North of the coast maybe? The Coast is one long mostly uninterrupted metro area...nothing in between the towns of Long Beach, Gulfport, Biloxi, and Ocean springs.. no offense, just wondering where you mean.

Obama can do anything that is contrary to what is moral and get away with it because the American people love immoral behavior.

Obama can do exactly what President Bush did and have 10 more oil rigs destroyed and the Amercian people will say he's still the savior of America.

Anything that Obama does to destroy the United States will be welcomed with open arms from the Amercan people.

Welcome to the New World. What's bad is good and what's wrong is right.

That isn't new at all. It has been like that for a long time. I have been saying for years now that good gets treated badly and doing bad things gives you rewards. This place is like a living hell.

But as one poster stated that this could very well be like another 9/11 commission report. I wonder what awaits us for 2011?

NALCO is the manufacturer of chemical dispersements and water purification systems that are being used in the Gulf.

Nalco has had ongoing ties to Exxon.
Nalcos owner is Blackstone Group.

en.wikipedia.org...

The Blackstone Group was founded in 1985 by Peter G. Peterson, David M. Lubotta and Stephen A. Schwarzman with $400,000 in seed capital.

en.wikipedia.org...

Peter George Peterson (born June 5, 1926) is an American businessman, investment banker, fiscal conservative, author, and politician whose most prominent political position was as United States Secretary of Commerce from February 29, 1972, to February 1, 1973 under Richard Nixon. He was the Chairman and CEO of Bell & Howell from 1963 to 1971, and Chairman and CEO of Lehman Brothers from 1973 to 1984. He was Chairman of the Council on Foreign Relations until retiring on June 30, 2007, after being named chairman emeritus. He co-founded the private equity firm, the Blackstone Group. In 2008, he was ranked 149th on the "Forbes 400 Richest Americans" with a net worth of $2.8 Billion. In 2008, he established The Peter G. Peterson Foundation with a $1 billion endowment

Also

Peterson succeeded David Rockefeller as Chairman of the Council on Foreign Relations in 1985 and served until his retirement in 2007. He currently serves as Trustee of the Rockefeller family's Japan Society and of the Museum of Modern Art, and was previously on the board of Rockefeller Center Properties, Inc..

also this

In February 1994, President Bill Clinton named Peterson as a member of the Bi-Partisan Commission on Entitlement and Tax Reform co-chaired by Senators Bob Kerrey and John Danforth.

en.wikipedia.org...

Seems that NALCO the manufacturer of chemical dispersements used by BP is tied to Nixon, Rockefellers, Exxon and even Bill Clinton. But I don't see the link to Obama.

And I do like this quote from the guy.

Following record deficits under President George W. Bush, Peterson commented in 2004: "I remain a Republican, but the Republicans have become a far more theological, faith-directed party, not troubling with evidence."
