There are many possible outcomes to the Israels aggressive actions towards the flotilla. (And please lets not debate who was was the aggressor, right or wrong that matter is fairly settled fact).
Possibilities include:
A) Absolutely nothing
B) A vetoed UN resolution (US)
C) An abstained UN resolution (US + UK)
D) A non-binding watered down UN resolution
E) A strong enforceable binding resolution
F) Riots
G) Proxy fighting (i.e. Hamas, small arms/rockets, limited air actions)
H) Israeli inter-border reaction to proxy fighting (vs. Syria + Iran)
G) Turkish limited escalation [escorting of ships to international waters etc.]
H) Turkish provocative escalation [pushing through blockade]
I) Israeli military action against item G
J) NATO involvement
K) Arab nations, Iran +Turkey vs. Israel
L) Global conflict

The odds IMHO
75
D,F

As always open for constructive input. (but no use in debating with anyone bringing up Hitler or claiming antisemitism to blur the discussion at hand)

Nothing of any importance will happen. There will be a great deal of posturing by nations, lots of meaningless debates, Obama will hide in the White House and hope the problem goes away (as he always does), and Israel will continue actions that protect its own existence.

All in all, nothing new here.

I thought about the 25 % chance, and then I remembered, wait a minute, I already read how this plays out, in a book written a long time ago, it's still in print as a matter of fact, and you can find it next to the phone book, in any Hotel room......

I totally disagree, this has the potential to really get out of control, and i dont see anyone other right now with a strong enough leader to pull everyone back from the brink, Obama is weak, Cameron, Sarkosi and Merkel have enuff to think about already, only Russia has the leadership and i can see them totally backing any Turkish action, and we all know Syria and Lebanon are loving this.

I want to be wrong, but this is one mistake Israel will regret, its come at the wrong time, look or Turkey to be moving hardware within 48 hours.

I believe it will lead to "L" over the course of time....later this year or next...."L" = Global Conflict. This summer there will definitely be conflict in the middle east...who is to say at the moment which Arab nations will be involved...but Israel has a target on it's back right now and the trigger is going to be pulled soon. Who is going to pull the trigger? Who knows, but its going to get ugly.

Don't worry sir.

No one believes that tripe anyway.

No one that can combine a intelligent original thought anyway.

A). War war and more war = 100% chance.

B). Lies, lies and more lies from Israel = 100% chance.

The two most likely outcomes are (A) and (G). Aside from perhaps a harshly worded statement, I don't expect the UN to say much under the circumstances. Both sides made mistakes that led to the confrontation, at least to my eyes. On the other hand, I do expect the usual suspects to launch rocket attacks into Israel, with the usual amount of Israeli retaliation....which will lead to more harshly worded statements.

And the circle of stupidity will continue.
