The reason we don't see aliens, is because we can't see aliens, they are simply too alien!

I totally proved you WRONG.

How can I be wrong? That's impossible.

There are things that exist beyond our understanding, we ALL KNOW THAT!

What are you doing on this forum, if you don't even understand that simple point? OF COURSE I'M NOT WRONG.

BEYOND YOUR REALITY! There is a limit to our human brain, we can not process all there is to be! That's ridiculous!

Way to completely take what I've said out of context and twist it around to suit your own ends. That was classy, you are a gentleman and a scholar.

2. YOU CAN NOT BREATHE COLOR. The alien however can because that is it's reality. Not yours. A totally unique reality from yours where breathing does in fact mean color.

Um, no.

If by "reality" you mean, say, a totally different physics wherein one could "breathe color", whatever that means to you.

There is no reason to believe that the universe isn't uniform in its behavior. Certainly nothing we can observe would indicate it.

Nonetheless, I'm pretty sure you can't demonstrate any circumstance wherein some mammal was presented with "information it could not process" and died as a result.

I can, for example, present my dog with a very nicely worked out Hamiltonian mechanics problem, and he doesn't drop dead. He doesn't have the equipment to deal with the concepts, and so just ignores it, unless he pees on it or tears it up playing with it.

I've heard of 'Perceptual Blindness'. If there truly is something that is so incredibly different than our frame of reference, maybe we won't see it until it's forced upon us.

en.wikipedia.org...

What's just as interesting to me is if they exist surely some people can see them.

I think this is an interesting question because it brings into play how we would/will perceive "aliens". I've recently gone to the idea that looking up to the sky isn't the way to actually get there. This coming from someone who...heck about 11 years ago saw an Independence Day-type UFO. Don't care to argue if you don't believe it, if you don't that's fine, I just ask you "play along" with this post.

I'm sure we can get out there and find microbes, and maybe venture into the infinity when we have the technology. But stop looking up, look inside. I think you have all the power in your brain, and to be completely blunt I think it's the pineal gland, the soul gland, the part of your brain that can lead to "interdimensional" experiences through 100% natural causes. It can be sped up with hallucinogens and other natural outside sources, but there is no need. And we have been brainwashed by the calcification of our pineal gland via flouride in our water by the big boys for whatever reason.

So what do they look like? How will we perceive them? If the "aliens", which I prefer to think of as interdimensional beings (though I'm far from understanding exactly what it all is), but if they want to be peaceful, you'll have no problems. If they are delivering a message of peace and higher consciousness like we all hope they do, you will be able to recognize them via meditation. If an interdimensional being wanted to literally kill you by overcoming all of your perceptions, I'm not so sure they could do that. For you to get to that point in the first place, I think you would have to have a higher consciousness and perception of reality, high enough to actually do so. Basically, it's the chicken or the egg argument. I argue that you cannot get to perceiving one of these beings that is powerful enough to kill you without your perception increasing to the point where you can handle it. So possibly it is a null question when we talk of the beings I'm talking of, which as I said I think are the true "aliens" we look in the sky for.

But I don't think you have to worry about beings of higher consciousness and understanding with those kinds of intentions. Those are Earthly intentions.

EDIT - Had a funny image of a human peeing on an alien he doesn't recognize and walking away, so thanks to the person above who posted that. I do urinate outside sometimes, so maybe....

Does anybody else understand, that if we are indeed being visited by aliens, that it's entirely possible they can not show themselves?

Coming from distant places so incomprehensible, using concepts so beyond ourselves, that simply one glance would cause instant death.

that reminds me of this Star Trek Episode: Home Soil

Data and Geordi return to the station. Data notices a strange flicker of light down at the far end of one of the bore shafts. He makes sure it isn't a reflection of light, and scans it with his tricorder. He gets no readings, so he asks Geordi to look at it with his VISOR. Using its various visual modes, Geordi scans the object. It's inorganic, yet the pulses of light and color are unexplainable. Data wonders if it could be alive

It's inorganic so they don't recognize it as an alien life form. Like you said it's so alien, it's unrecognizable as life. And it does end up killing people, but not just by looking at it.

I think the idea of death by looking at an alien is pretty far fetched, it would have to emit some kind of radiation or something to kill us so I'm not saying that's impossible, but in that case it would be the radiation that would kill us whether we looked at it or not.

I saw a TV show recently about a fabric that people can wear and relects light in such a way as to (almost) render them invisible. (The technology is not quite there yet...)

If we can do that, surely advanced aliens will have mastered complete invisibility?

[img]http://[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/dd564b71b16d.jpg[/img] If you think my face looks strange or that it is a bad picture you would be wrong. Look closely at the composition of the facial features, they are aliens. By the way, it isn't the appearance that kills, it is the radiance. too close and it kills you whether you are looking or not.

So many things exist beyond our senses, so many places beyond our capability of understanding. Unimaginable, incomprehensible, hypnagogic horrors of the worst kind!!!!
