Laser Powered Flying Saucer - Could this be how UFOs operate? (Video)

This is a little video I stumbled across, it's called the "lightcraft". A craft that can be fueled by pure light energy.

I'm assuming that our government has been experimenting with this for many years prior to this video and experiment, however, it's a very interesting clip on how possible UFOs and future spacecraft may operate.

This stuff is years old, and far from secret. I've seen this on television at least over 7 years ago. In my opinion, it is not worth pursuing and not very practical. Of course the people that are getting the funding for it say otherwise, but they need money and jobs, so the real world application is secondary to their continued employment (trust me, that's the real world concerning stuff like this)

This is not a practical means of propulsion on the grand scale.
