North Korea, which is thought to possess between five and seven nuclear bombs, recently restarted its main nuclear reactor, which is capable of reprocessing spent fuel rods used in the production of weapons-grade plutonium.

SOurce full story

North Korea today threatened to retaliate with a nuclear "fire shower" if it is attacked by the US and warned it would expand its nuclear arsenal, a month after it carried out a controlled nuclear explosion in defiance of the UN security council.

So now we know what kind of war to expect when this one starts back up

Plus, it's in the wrong forum. Global Meltdown is a financial forum, regarding the meltdown of the global markets.

Questions then...

Well, what impact will this have on the markets?
In a conflict which totalitarian emergency powers will be passed over to individual govs?
Will the creditor nations start recalling their debts?
Will the debtor nations start staying get lost to the creditor nations?

IMHO it links.. tho could be re-worded a little better for this forum

I'm not sure he's in the worong place !

This is what we can exspect if we don't welcome the amro with open armys so the IMF/WTO/NWO can get it's personal carbon tax based on what you spend.

The more an more you look at the attack the more and more it looks like a false flag and some are even saying that from SK

Sorry about location and actually the date. It was still attached to the news syndicate that originally ran the story. I thought a nuke might involve a global meltdown...just kidding about the last sentence.

Mod could you please move this or trash it...thanks

It is relevant because world war acts as a reset button to the economy, and even though this is a year old it shows what the N koreans are willing to do if attacked.

Well, the 'markets' would be the least of our worries if a full-scale nuclear war was initiated!

I think the name of this forum is a little bit misleading - it was set up to discuss the crash of 08 and now it seems many have forgotten and some are even saying 'recession - what recession?'

There is no doubt however, a nuclear war involving North Korea would be a 'meltdown' of the worst magnitude - in every respect!
