Ok, while I was supposed to be working I had the inclination to do a little searching on Google. Well I decided to look up volcanoes and I wish I had not. I can honestly say that volcanoes were something that I only read about in National geographic. Usually some poor sap climbing up the thing only to have his foot and arm blown off by a flying ball of hot lava. So imagine my surprise when being used to hearing about a volcanic eruption once or twice a year, I find that we have 11 volcanic eruptions in the last 6 months, and don't forget that Katla is also expected to blow anytime.

Since when are we a threat to the earth? Lol.
The earth has been clobbered with all sorts of life obliterating forces.
We're barely any concern to Earth.
Every year about 60 volcanoes erupt, but most of the activity is pretty weak...www.ussartf.org...
Explosive eruptions shook two huge volcanos in Central and South America on Friday, forcing thousands of people to flee their homes and disrupting air traffic as ash drifted over major cities.
