Something interesting happening in the weather

Hello everyone, I live in the south east (Northwest Georgia) and have been watching the weather lately (as I always do) when I noticed something extremly odd. Everyone knows that the southeast gets moisture from the gulf, and that most, if not all, storm systems move west to east (Jet stream and moisture causes this). Well ever since Deep Water Horizon exploded, our weather isn't working as it should (Storms are coming from the East to the West)

My current thought is that they're using HAARP to make the oil not go inland, or that it is a natural occurrence and we're now getting moisture from the Atlantic, thus everything is moving this way. I just thought I would let you all know.

I'unno, man. Looks like the natural cycle of air currents. I've seen clouds go every which way, even though storms usually come from the west and drift out eastward or north-northeast; I've seen clouds plow towards the west and whatnot.

It's kind of weird, but then again ... I just chalk it up to natural changes in air flow.

I could be wrong though.

I have too, but when it happens, they're always pop up storms, never storm systems.

Our local Weatherman last night made similar comment. WCTV in Tallahassee. He said it was very odd that we had storms moving North to South. I can attest that I hardly ever see a storm moving Southward, and I have never seen a storm head directly South, but it has been happening regularly this month?

I don't know about HAARP, but the oil slicks and heating Gulf could be changing the weather pattern. I fully expect it to be a very odd year, and the Hurricane Forecasters all agree!

I live in Gainesville, GA and have noticed the same thing. Storms going east to west.
My husband noticed an orange ring around the moon last night when he was heading east from Lima, CO toward Kansas. He's a car hauler and thought it looked pretty. I told him it made me wonder what was going on with the environment.

The weather doesn't have a set pattern. It doesn't have to flow one way or another. It just does what it does regardless of what anyone thinks it *should* do. In Los Angeles we have offshore and onshore flow. Usually onshore flow brings rain and cool weather from the ocean and offshore brings hot windy weather. But occasionally they will switch roles.

Its like saying all tornados should spin counter-clockwise in the northern hemisphere. For the most part they do, but sometimes you get the ones that don't. Personally I think you're reading too much into it.

I'm just saying, I think it is odd, because this doesn't happen much around here, and its the only thing that happened in the past 30 days. Too much of a coincidence.

Im sure there are better Jet stream flow maps but here is one I found on a quick search.
