It's a well known Fact.. If you want some inside info Read: 'Inside Delta Force' by Eric Haney. He was one of the 1st members of Delta. There was 2 seperate times in 1980 and 81 where Delta force operators were ready to get a few hundred Vietnam soldiers back from POW camps (the camps were in Laos) Only to have Both missions scrubbed by the DOD.

There's a stunning book called: The Enormous Crime.
I suggest this to anyone who has ANY DOUBT there are US soldiers TO THIS DAY in Vietnam.

An Enormous Crime is nothing less than shocking. Based on thousands of pages of public and
previously classified documents, it makes an utterly convincing case that when the American
government withdrew its forces from Vietnam, it knowingly abandoned hundreds of P.O.W.'s to
their fate. The product of twenty-five years of research by former Congressman Bill Hendon and
attorney Elizabeth A. Stewart, An Enormous Crime brilliantly exposes the reasons why these
American soldiers and airmen were held back by the North Vietnamese at Operation Homecoming
in1973 and what these men have endured since

Who would have guessed James Cameron from Titantic and the 1st two Terminator movies not to mention Aliens wrote the script with Sylvester Stallone for Rambo 11. The best line being, when Rambo says to Col. Trautman at the very end of the movie: "What I want...is what they want and every other guy who spilled his guts and gave everything had(for their Country during war) wants... For our Country to love us; as much as we love it.. that's what I want."
