There are some review snippets that likely won’t end up as movie poster taglines:
“an affront to Muslims” – USA Today
“breathtaking cultural insensitivity” – Washington Post
“cinematic Viagra for Western cultural imperialists”- Salon.com
Of all the criticisms that could likely be launched against Warner Bros.’ new “Sex and the City 2” movie, the media have latched onto the film’s reported depictions of misogynist policies in Muslim nations.
It was USA Today that called the movie “an affront to Muslims.” Reviewer Claudia Puig wrote that director Michael Patrick King “is out of his league attempting to comment on the inequitable treatment of Muslim women. He ends up mocking religious beliefs and making Carrie and her friends appear insensitive.”
"Saved!" doesn't seem particularly insulting to Evangelical Christians, nor to Christians of any stripe. Even though it pretends to be sharp and observant, it's really one of those "Let every flower in the garden grow" movies, conspicuously lacking both guts and well-sharpened teeth.
The scene takes place in A.D. 33, when a Judean citizen named Brian Cohen (Graham Chapman) finds himself taken for the Messiah. The more he demurs -- he actually pretended to be a prophet while trying to escape from the Roman guards who were chasing him -- the more his protestations sound to his followers like divine pronouncements. As one disciple says, the surest sign that someone is a Messiah is that he denies being the Messiah.
Such are the tautologies, inconsistencies and self-fulfilling prophecies of organized religion that the Pythons poke fun at in "Life of Brian,"

Who cares about the movie? The point is how the media is reacting to what they call anti Muslim, compared to how they react to movies that take aim at Christianity.

Well, on the bright side this might curb the enthusiasm for Sex and the City 3.

Here is an idea.
Muslims, stop treating your women like cows and we will stop using it as a talking point.
Way to many babies in the U.S. right now. I don't know what caused some people to become such pussies but it is as bad as a disease right now. Lets call it what it is. The Great Pussy Pandemic of the 21st century.

I'll be completely honest Sarah Jessica Parker is hot (Even though some people say that she's incredibly unattractive. I'd still hit that.) But I could honestly least care about the movie or if someone gets offended. People need to grow a pair and get their backbones back.
