My Formal Introduction

Hello ATSers,

I'd like to finally get around to introducing myself. I was a lurker for nearly a year, until finally on March 30th I decided that it was time to stop lurking and start contributing. Now that I'm fully attached to ATS and can hardly go a day without checking it, I figured I ought to say hello!

I am a student from Canada, and have a BSc in Psychology & Neuroscience. In a year or so, I will begin my second BSc in Midwifery.

Over the past few years, I've decided to open my eyes and get informed, and I'd like to offer my most hearty thanks to the members of ATS for their tireless efforts toward gathering information! My day-to-day life is characterized by the response: "Please don't tell me any more, I'd like to think the world is still a good place." If it weren't for you guys, I think I'd feel pretty alone - because I would have started to think that I was the only person who wanted to find some semblance of truth behind the spin and the smokescreens.

It's wonderful to finally say "Hello!", and let you all know how much this site and its members have helped me in keeping informed and keeping my chin up.
