A new Florida Supreme Court rule requires lenders to verify they are the actual owners of a home before making the initial case for foreclosure.

That does seem to me the bare minimum one would expect a bank to need before foreclosure. Proof that it actually owned the home.

The system has gone a little crazy lately.

Lol, yeah-- makes you wonder what was going on before.

"Hey umm... Mr Bob.. I'm going to have to foreclose your home. ...What, proof I own it? I don't need proof, you need to move out!"
