New Reptilian Image - The Eckhart Encounters

The video from which this image came from is not loaded on YouTube and still being transferred to DVD. There are hundreds of videos...he kept a video record for almost 7 years and still records. All I can say, again, is too read the blog. In fact, search David Eckhart or alien home invasion on our site search tool and all the links pertaining to this case will come up. Phantoms and Monsters. Thanks....

BTW..I have sent the image to a very above board associate who is an image specialist and has a very up-to-date lab...just like I do for much of my photo evidence. We may see if we can enhance and digitize the image without removing or adding pixels.

I have worked in security for several years and have seen domes like that regularly. They may appear concave on the tip as highlighted, but that is due to the angle of the shot and the way light is distorted around the dome tip.

Also, this is not a doorknob, the rest of the room (in the reflection) is clearly below the dome. So unless this house has a door on the ceiling...

Ok then,

why is he filming a security mirror?

It just seems like he's trying to obscure the image.
He could have just as easily put the camera in the top corner of the room and gotten a much clearer picture.

If you read the original post, it says it is a BEDROOM. Why is there a security mirror in a bedroom? I certainly wouldn't want to have a spy mirror over my bed.

There is 1/30th of a second of a film clip of something in a self professed bedroom that is a reverse, distorted, blurred image.

How can anyone take this seriously that this is anything but a blurred reflection of something else in the room. Turn around and film the "portal" itself and catch some real video of something if you want to impress or convince me.

And like I said before, what is he supposed to be filming anyways? The actual full video is not available for inspection.
I am very suspicious of a fragment of a fragment of something possibly a reflection of a distorted image.

Based upon the doubts of the autenticity of the mirror, this is a Dome Convex Mirror I've found on Google:



The distortion looks slightly different from the OP's mirror, it's a real convex distortion and we know it by just looking how things distort around the mirror. Also, why he didn't get a full image of the mirror? He shows only the low part, wich give us the rightful doubt about it's autenticity.

So, in my opinion, the OP's mirror is a very bad Convex Mirror, homemade or something like that, pretending to be a real Convex Mirror placed in the ceiling to hide how he fabricated the hoax.

And, if Eckhart was so eager to prove the existance of a Reptilian, he should do better, way better than this.

Even though it didnt look reptilian.. i do believe there was someone / thing in my room.

Would be a good idea to tell someone with better equipment where the house is so that they could get better footage.

Dude that is some deep stuff right there on your website!! Ive seen that video on you tube about the couple sleeping in bed while a lil alien is running around... you know with that much evidence and that many experinces I would MOVE!!

They have moved...3 years ago. The visitations continue though on a less frequent basis

What is really funny in one of the videos where there is a ball of light moving around on the walls slowly u can plainly see a flashlight being held on what it looks like his bed. and it is moving with the ball of light.... And the strobe light to keep the camera slightly out of focus.... too cheesy.....

At first glance I thought it was concave too.

After a minute or so I decided that it may not be concave, and instead is actually circular.

What you are pointing out looks like a distortion of the image reflected in the mirror.

From the reflection I see at the bottom an image of the bed wrapped around the curve of the mirror which is what imaged tend to look like in those things.

The concave looks like the reflected bedpost at the top of the bed.

It appears to be an optical illusion.

This family had been experiencing this for a while which is why they have a mirror like that in their bedroom. It's easier to see and video the entire room with a mirror like that. I know if I had encounters like this I would set up video nightly and do what they did. Sometimes I want to do it anyways just to see if anything appears but it freaks me out to think something could and I would never know it. I don't think I could sleep again!

I asked myself the same question.

In fact, I was confused about the entire image since the OP didn't fully explain how it was captured. Or rather he did, but didn't give us the context in which someone is recording a reflection in some sort of object. I was not familiar at all with this sort of thing so maybe it is my fault and not his.

After a bit of research I discovered that sometimes people put these security mirrors up to get a full view of the area, and then (in this case for example) film the mirror to capture anything that enters into its very broad view. I assume this is to gain the full view of the area constantly rather than risk missing something with a rotating camera.

That must be why this guy set this up and recorded the mirror.

I noticed from the OPs blog, that there were videos of other people doing the very same thing posted on youtube.

OP I think if you explained the technique of alleged abductees/experiencers setting up a security mirror in their bedroom and filming it to capture proof in your opening post, people would be less confused about the image itself.

It took me a while but I figured it out, but again this may be my fault for not knowing something that is common knowledge. Around here it is best to spell everything out and not take anything for granted.
