One day i was looking outside of my kitchen window and noticed this weird colorful

shine above the sun. Picture was taken with a mobile phone camera, sorry if it is bad

quality. Can anyone explain is this somekind of phenomena?

Light refraction or something? dunno but it looks kinda normal. Good quality pic tho

Could be a sundog, although I'm not educated on this matter.. here some external images of sundogs:







Could be a faint one.

It's a sun halo, an optical phenomenon produced by ice crystals in the atmosphere.

Exactly, the moon can get this kind of halos too, they look really cool, it kind of looks like a giant planet is creeping out. =P

And excellent picture by the way, it is really good.
