More good news from our *new* coalition 'masters'.
This time, Vince 'I am strongly against privatisation of the Royal Mail before May the 6th 2010' Cable has now (surprise, surprise) had a change of
mind about his point of view now that he is in the pay of his Tory friends.
Vince Cable now uses an argument to privatise the Royal Mail saying that they 'have to privatise' the Royal Mail because otherwise Royal Mail will
not be able to compete in the market with other mail providers. What a load of crap. Using that argument you could say that about the NHS and
education - hang on, they already are privatising schools... So, it'll be the NHS next.
Of course we all know how keen Nick Clegg (Lib Dem and now deputy Prime Minister to his *new* best mate David Cameron) is to privatise the NHS - he's
been wanting to do it for years; he's even written papers on it.
Cable believes that while Royal Mail remains in state ownership it cannot compete in a liberalised postal market. Unions and campaigners argue that
Royal Mail, as a provider of an essential public service, should remain in state hands
Royal Mail to go
