Do you really think that very smart people want to harm you?

This is an OP ED post. Without citations. Don't you think that really smart people would simply drift away to their own world and not care too much what you wanted to do?

If these really smart people were Christians they might wish you well. But to control you, tell you what to do? No way.

Really smart people never want to harm me! In fact they really just want for me to never harm them.

Which as long as they don't harm me...well, ok there is no gaurantee I am not going to harm them, but hey, we all have to do something.

High intelligence does not equal morality. And neither does christianity, in my experience. Arrogance and lust for power are prevalent Human traits, and unfortunately they are merely a means to an end, whichever end you could imagine, good or evil.

Do I think really smart people are out to get me? No. This is the USA and is a free country and I can read what I want, (even if it is on hermetics.)
I can think what I want, be what I want, without being harassed. Our forefathers were Rosicrucians. www.soul.org... which I would call christian mysticism.
I do think that after the patriot act...there has been random abuse on our liberties, (Like Fascist Jews, Muslims, and Christians up high.) But I have faith in the powers that be! I think abuse has stopped, and "they" are being monitored by those who protect our liberties as Americans and the ones above" them" prevent abuse. They guarantee our freedom of speech and religion. So yes, I feel safe!

Methinks everybody is very smart in one way or another and saying anybody is completely stupid is kind of ignorant.

So I think as PT said, we should not harm each other, smart or not so smart...

And insinuating that any organized religion would change that is insulting. Not personally, but to anyone gifted with a brain. Use yours to think outside your little box of experiences.
