Did the Knowing predict oil rig disaster?

Hey there,

This is my first post so please be nice and if this has been posted before, please feel free to ignore it. I am not sure if this is considered a conspiracy, a prediction or a downright coincidence. However, I do find it a bit spooky though that the movie called "The Knowing" has a scene that talks about an oil rig disaster in the Gulf of Mexico. I do remember that scene very well when I watched it last year and didn't think about it until I saw this video. My first reaction was wow... That’s as best as I can describe it.

But if you ask me, I think it’s a coincidence like those other movies and TV series that people claim to predict 9/11. As a skeptic, I do keep an open mind just in case because you never know what might pop out. What do you guys think, is this a coincidence, a conspiracy, a prediction or are there really forces that we cannot comprehend at work here?
