I was reading some material for my business course and I ran across a case study mentioning the Disclosure Project and Dr Steven Greer. The case study had us pretend that we were owners of a small airport and Dr. Greer wished to have a free access public event on UFO disclosure at our airport.

The purpouse of the case study was to inform Dr. Greer that holding the event was not possible because people would refer to us as the "Kooks in hanger 5". The interesting thing is that the business book did not try to down play the UFO disclosure at all or Dr. Greer, but just try to empathize how it could hurt business.

Why is this important? The same case study was in my wife's book from a different school and different class. This kind of aims to get more people from professional backround's feet wet in accepting the fact that UFO's, whether alien or earthly, do exist.

We all know how it works. When I was growing up, I remember constant debates on existance of UFO's, aliens, etc. Most people I knew were againts. Slowly, as I got older, more and more people are cited as saying, "Ok, I believe in the possibility, but just not the plausability of a chance encounter."

Now, if the skies fill up with flyng saucers, people will be initially amazed, and then they may say, " That's right, I remember hearing about this in my business class."

It was nice to see this subject in an international business course and not have it completely ridiculed.

It actually put a huge smile on my face because the second I mention the possibilities of life beyond our planet I feel as if I just screamed "Hail Satan" in a church. People truly are not interested, well, most people.

My wife and her mother are leaning towards the NWO/false contact opinions, which is sad because that line of thinking shuts down any further critical thought and ends the conversation quickly.

The book is Essentials of Business Communications, BTW. When I first saw it, I ran to my wife and said," See hear, I told I wasn't making it up."

To her, new nick nacks and cheap curtains are more interesting than the possibility that there infinite numbers of civilizations out there.

Why do I feel like we're all enslaved

I forgot to answer your inquiry. Perhaps because this is a mid level business course which most people will be subjected to if they persue a business degree, and last time I checked, business degrees come a dime a dozen. Maximum Exposure, perhaps?

Does anyone actually hold Steven Greer with any credence nowadays? Seems to me he's a modern day snake oil salesman.

I don't know how I feel about him, or his posse. I do know that it don't matter how high up whistle blowers may be, they can all be silenced. Let's face it, we all have something to lose, or else we'd all commit suicide, really.

And, we all have a price. I was merely mentioning for the sake of the disclosure people, that the text in which I was referring actually gets seen by a lot of eyes, though to be honest most people don't really read their text books thouroughly, let alone the case studies. I found it by accident while looking for an answer to a test
regardless......
