Okay, I'm all for a good laugh now and then, but abovetopsecret.com (not this forum) is not 4chan. I don't want to see people getting stars for posting Picard's facepalm or making fun of Michael Jackson touching kids. :bnghd:

People are posting one liners that add absolutely nothing to the topic, and sometimes don't even write ANYTHING and just link to a picture!

Is this not supposed to be a serious site? Excuse me if I sound like a party pooper, but belowtopsecret.com is here for a reason. I wish they would clean up this place and take out the trash.

That is why I made this topic, it doesn't just happen 2 or 3 times like it used to, now it is happening almost every second post. I cannot report every single one, like I said, someone needs to clean up around here, or before you know it people are going to start posting whatever they feel like.

Well Isn't that why we are in a forum site like this?!

So we can post what we feel like without the worry of being ridiculed by others or if you will having a thread complaining about our posts such as this one for example.

Also anything that doesn’t belong here is dealt with or moved to where it should belong or from where I am that’s what it looks like it happening.

Not everyone here is used to or is a part of forum websites regularly, some just want to post what they feel like when they feel like it hoping someone will read it and take something from it.

Others like to have a bit of fun in a site that's filled with seriousness and what's wrong with that?!

So like I said in a previous post If you see something that you don't like then just report it, it's as simple as that and doing so will help the mods, in turn helping out ATS a little bit as the chances are if you see it then they haven't already as that's why it's not been brought down already.

OP I agree with you totally.
I have seen a rise in people adding absolutely nothing and posting for the sake of posting in ATS.
Things like...wow cool,thanks for that.
If people have nothing insightful to add then please DON"T POST!!!
I have also seen a rise in members trying to get by the censors.
I see people give a link and then they type one word...thoughts??
I see soooo many duplicate threads it just annoys me.
Please use the search engine!!!!

What I mentioned I have been noticing above is part of the T&C and I wish they would enforce it a bit better.

Bts is Bts but in ATS you should be TRYING to contribute something insightful and worthy.
Things like thanks bud...or cool thread should be off-topic posts....no more letting it go.

Well,if you see something that you think is something a forum moderator should check out,you should use the alert button.

I am constantly alerting them to comments that are not up to T&C or just short one liners.

The mods can not read everything,you know someone has to alert them.
