Question about "Platinum Content Facilitator"

What are the requirements you must meet to get this content label? There's nothing about it in the main thread, and after a few searches I found nothing, sorry if this has been posted before, but if it's buried deep enough that a few searches couldn't find it, I'm sure some people wont mind seeing the information re-posted once again.

Yes, it's staff only. This can with the "contributor" status'. But staff became "facilitators" instead. Pretty apt really:

There are a variety of definitions for facilitator:

* "An individual who enables groups and organizations to work more effectively; to collaborate and achieve synergy. She or he is a 'content neutral' party who by not taking sides or expressing or advocating a point of view during the meeting, can advocate for fair, open, and inclusive procedures to accomplish the group's work" - Doyle[1]

* "One who contributes structure and process to interactions so groups are able to function effectively and make high-quality decisions. A helper and enabler whose goal is to support others as they achieve exceptional performance" - Bens[2]

* "The facilitator's job is to support everyone to do their best thinking and practice. By supporting everyone to do their best thinking, a facilitator enables group members to search for inclusive solutions and build sustainable agreements" - Kaner

From my own interpretation, I am not sure this is true, but you don’t have to worry about, Gold, silver, Bronze, Solid or platinum contribution levels, because from what I saw on the 2010 preview board, there is no level on contributions? Am I wrong?

So the highest rank I can get without becoming staff is gold then? Because I could have sworn I've seen others who aren't staff that have higher titles...?

Cosmic is the the highest I am pretty sure

is there anyway i can try and achieve the ultra-multi-dimensional-universe contributor award??? jesus, this sounds like the arguements about the "points" structure a while back...i'm glad we have sane moderators

I'm sorry my asking a simple question upsets you so much... it's not like I'm "battling it out" to be top dog here, I saw others with cosmic contribution levels and I wanted to know what the requirements are. It's called incentive, ever hear of it? But I will say I don't need much, if any, incentive to post on ATS and contribute.

I provide good info and try and give up to date articles as well... check my threads if you wish I am not here to do anything but deliver as much good information as possible.

With that said, does that mean cosmic is the highest for regular members then? And if so, what are the requirements? Thanks ahead of time.

To be perfectly honest, I don't really see any need for "points" and all the other "status" symbols.

You're either good at posting, or you aren't.

I don't care if I have a "gold" level rating, or a "raving hot pink" rating.

It's too much like getting worried over nothing.

I agree with what you say but...
I feel a sort victory dance coming up every time I'm coming close to an upgrade on everything. It just makes it more fun.

Maybe it's a natural thing of being human. Actually I'm convinced it is.

So what ended up being the results? How many stars/flags do you need to become a platinum contributor? And then a Cosmic contributor?

And is it true these designations will be ridden of what ATS 2010 comes out?

Much like in Freemasonry in which the "highest Degree" is the Third degree despite there being other titles which may have a higher numerical value, the "highest rank" here at ATS is being an ATS member... An honor which is conferred to all by the simple act of registering... An honor that forever separates you from the ignorant masses...

Unless you get banned...
