Iran has no nuclear weapons.

Russia are helping them build nuclear reactors on the condition that all spent fuel rods are returned.

2 countries which are much more unstable and have direct links to terrorist organisations in the region already have nuclear weapons (Israel and Pakistan)

The IAEA has stated that they are not pursuing a course that will end in the manufacture of nuclear weapons.

Israel uses the IAEA argument when it suits them and ignores it when it doesn't.

Israel has been agitating for a US strike against Iran for years, based on no evidence at all except that Iran are building nuclear power reactors because they have an energy shortage.

The real danger to regional stability is Israel - and the western powers keep that going because it's in their interests to do so.

The reason?
Control of resources - in other words, it's all about the oil. Again.

I'm extremely proud to say that I missed it... damn, oh well, there are another hundred generically similar shows. I'm sure one of them will be thrust upon me at some point.

God damn you Simon Cowell!! May your trousers rise higher and throttle you in your sleep!!

Unfortunately, I think you're probably right, there will be millions of Americans that swallow this BS as if it were made of honey and pixie farts. It'll be the same this side of the pond. We all know that wherever America goes, they always take their British Bulldog on a leash to snap at the heals of their victims.

Seriously .....

Allow me to add ...... tutt tutt tutt !

Key words in this IDF/Mossad bulletin. The emphasis added will be mine.

Iran has acquired every technological potential to build nuclear weapons and be recognized as a nuclear power. This report was made by an Israeli senior intelligence officer who added that Iran’s transition to the nuclear status is now a matter of political solution. Iran’s nuclear program has long been an issue of serious international concern, but the IAEA has no evidence that it is pursuing a military agenda. The United States and a number of other countries have called for toughening sanctions against Iran following Tehran’s refusal to send its uranium for further enrichment abroad.

Iran can be called a "nuclear power" .......

Al thatl these articles are attempting to achieve , is public acceptance and a semblance of `inoculation` against the shock - of a pre-emptive strike by Israel on Iran .
Don`t be so eager to disseminate this nonsense on their behalf .

Well, it's happened.

If not right at this moment it will happen soon, yes.

Now what is the US and the rest of the World going to do? Wait for Iran to use it? See if they only use it for peaceful projects? WHAT?

I don't understand why you are freaking out but I hope other countries that are a bit nervous about the possibility of this development keep a level head.

There is no proof that Iran is making a nuclear bomb and is just about to push the red "fire" button as so as it comes off the assembly line because they are so anxious to use one.

No evidence suggest they would as they haven't had a history of attacking their neighbors. There are other countries with nuclear capability that you should be more worried about.

If anyone could possibly use a nuke soon in anger and fear, I believe it would be Israel. If not, then some other form of heavy military attack on Iran.

Whatever happens to them after that will be a consequence of their actions, their own responsibility, and the U.S. should stay out of it.

You're just fear-mongering now.

People need to leave Iran alone.

I despise the notion of any nation possessing nuclear weapons. In fact, I would applaud the disarmament of nuclear weapons worldwide. I think most of us would. I have to ask why anyone would believe that Iran would actually use nuclear weapons against their enemies when it would result in the complete and utter destruction of their country?

Perhaps they just want to be afforded the same protection that the USA, the UK, Israel, and other nations throughout the world currently possess. Who could blame them, really?

I find it slightly ironic, and perhaps hypocritical, that the only country to ever use a nuclear weapon in the history of mankind, is now attempting to dictate the defense policy and procedure of a soveriegn territory.

Without this protection, their country remains highly vulnerable to attack. With this protection, their vulnerability is significantly reduced.

This is just the way I see this current predicament, anyway.

I think what a lot of you are over-looking with the Intel Officer part. This is a Russian news piece-just reported. This isn't Drudge/MSM etc. Russia. So, with what you are thinking/saying is that Russia is beating the War Drum, so-to-speak? It will take days, if ever, for the MSM to report-catch up.

Debka isn't reporting it. The Jerluslim Times isn't. Russia is. Meaning: the story was for Russians-not Westerners etc. Telling it's people: Hey, the country we are aiding (Iran) with it's Nuke programs (however that maybe
is being reported on by it's sworn enemy intel people to it's leaders that Iran is now Nuke ready-Maybe time to make THE CALL>?

Put it in that perspective. Also, the Israelies will do what is best fot them and not worry about us.

Keep eyes open on all fronts people!

If Russia is reporting this, then maybe they are trying to make it known on behalf of their ally that Iran has or will have that potential very soon. I see this as a veiled warning to the countries that have had Iran in their crosshairs. As far as Israel complaining about any other countries nuclear capability that is blatant hypocrisy. They have yet to allow inspections of their facilities or cooperate in any way shape or form with nuclear regulatory agencies. IMHO the USA and other countries should pull out of the area and let the countries of the area resolve their conflicts on their own. If they desire to kill each other off then so be it, as long as they don't propose a direct threat to my country, USA.

erm, the russians aren't reporting this, they are reporting that an Israeli intel officer said this, despite evidence to the contrary.

I do wish people would read the OP properly
