Bomb

The audience became even more of the cooking when someone 'bomb, bomb flights' cried. In the chaos created another man had a suitcase covered.

He was also arrested but later found nothing wrong with the sentence and had been released.

The briefcase was removed by the mounted police, something brave Welten said. In the briefcase were personal records.

Injured

In the incident were about fifty people injured. These are mainly minor injuries.

Some people walked fractures. Welten called it

The following happend at the memorial service in pressence of our Queen at 80.00 tonight.

While the 2 mitutes of silcence where comming to an end, a screeming man and the sudden banging noice of fences falling down coused the crowd to pannic anf flee. The Royal fammilie and goverment officials including the presidend where brought to savety inmidiatly.

some bystanders including childeren where overrun resulting in minor injuries

After the speaker informs the crowd that it's a minor incident withs ome "crazy" individual everything calmes down and the royal family also reapairs to the service.

i find the video a perfect exemply of how a massive crowd can create alot of victims in their flee.

sorry for the bad English, the snipped is Google translated. the sources are Dutch.

Kind regards,

Thank you for sharing the story.

I hope no one was hurt badly.

But I must say, this translation is very poor, and there are an obscene amount of errors (English syntax, spelling, grammar, punctuation).

It was exceptionally difficult to decipher meaning from this article, so please take no offense as I only mean this in a positive constructive way. We really need to learn proper English a little better.

I usually overlook errors and do not mind, but when there are over 300 errors in less than 3 paragraphs, I have to mention it...

Interesting post ThraexX, how many languages do you speak?
I could make sense of it and wish I could speak 'Dutch' so I could read it in its original, but it still made sense.

I guess we may well see this sort of thing from time to time as people take advantage of others' fears.

As an aside, how many languages can you speak Muzzle?

I don't think there was any need to illustrate be an Anglophile when it was obvious about the second-language, or should we just keep all 'auslanders' out of this site for fear of not bothering to try to understand them?

I'm sorry, I don't usually comment like this, but when I see someone pick apart someone else for attempting to spread information as best they can, I just have to speak up.

I am assuming most of the "errors" came directly from a translator program like Babelfish.

I only know English, French, Spanish, and Latin. I took 3 years of Latin so I am most proficient there. I am trying to learn Japanese but it is extremely difficult.

Sorry for the aside, I apologize.

Again my criticism was not meant to detriment the story/article. I was just pointing out that it was difficult to decrypt it.

About the OP, does anyone know if the police figured out who started the stampede in the first place? It seems they let the guy go whom they first suspected.

Yelling "bomb" in a crowd is a huge mistake. I hope they catch whoever caused all of that commotion.

The sheep are so unsettled. Once they begin soiling themselves regularly change will occur and hope will manifest more abundantly. Wolves beware.

I'm sorry too, Muzzle *hug*.

Sometimes I don't express myself as I mean to and upon rereading it is more acerbic than my intent.

On the flip side, this could lead to 'the boy who cried "wolf" syndrome' whereby crowds become complacent (more so) to such 'warnings'.

Agreed, Muzzlebutt was being rude.
Thank you for your thread as well as having the intellect to use Bablefish. It worked, I understood, and I pray that those injured, will be OK.

Hehe,

and in Japanese...

I'm sure our Dutch and Japanese readers are having a bit of a laugh.

This is the second incident involving the dutch royalty in a very short space of time. The last was a guy who didn't try to ram the bus they were in.

What is going on there?
Thanks for this, OP.

I was watching this on TV and immediately the incident that happened last year on Queen's Day flashed through my mind and to be honest, I thought that someone got shot. Fortunately, it turned out to be some pathetic guy dressed as an orthodox Jew whom started screaming while someone else dropped a briefcase and subsequently people started screaming 'there's a bomb!', which caused the crowd to panic and run away while some of the crush barriers came down. As a consequence, some people were literally overrun by others, but luckily enough there were only light injuries.

The police chief of Amsterdam said that the perpetrator had previously been arrested for theft, drugs dealing and violence.

This video is from the live-broadcast, very impressing imo.

This footage shows the source of the disturbance.

Very interesting how panic seems to increase as a function of distance. The people standing around the source are somewhat alarmed, but further away people are running, screaming, getting trampled and breaking bones in a feverish attempt to get away.

God hopes he didn't smoked weed or they will ban that to...just like the silly stories about magic mushrooms..
Still though it was quiet surreal watching this live on t.v , watching the masses moving in panic..Imagine how easy it is to bring fear on such a amount of people and the consequences of it..

This fear has been created because of all the supposed terror threats after 911 and of course the attack on Queensday last year.
I wonder why he dressed up like an orthodox Jew.
Is he a Holocaust denier?
