Wayne's books are getting blocked alot in the US as he tells it...but I think it's a case of him selling very few there rather than selling none.... last I spoke to him about book stuff, which was about a month ago, there were UK distributors (Tesco was one) and links to them on his main website. They are still up. But it's true that eveything salient in the book is available free on his websites...I have the book and have seen his sites so can safely say that's true.

Judy mentions writing a book on her aeanstreanrealm website....a couple of them about her abduction experience. Probably a long time ago though...haven't looked but she has pics of the covers on the website

Look, anyone who's supposed to be an astrophysicist who states barefaced that Arecibo can receive in the UV band has pretty much just crapped all over any credibility they might previously have had. That's ignoring any of the other crap she posted, which is just as bad, but harder to explain why it's wrong on ATS.

I was simply posting what HE said. If there are inconsistencies then they are his , not mine. I think he gets dramatic sometimes where selling none actually means just not selling very many.

Anyway I have tried to just impartially convey what comes in and muse on things....no need to get on your high horse or to start up all that bashing mentality which went on a while back....move on as most others seem to have . DISSERVICE TO THE ATS COMMUNITY ? All I've done for 2 days is solidly post what comes through and if you read all my posts you'd note I have posted from all sides , not just Wayne's ???? I don't necessarily even agree with the comments from others I've posted off his site, I am simply being the messenger

I have said numerous times I do not know the woman. I caught wind of the story on Wayne's page and posted it . I love a good mystery and an excuse for a distraction from my work (I'm s-e so can take time off) and this saga caught my imagination and got the sleuth-in-me going. That's all ! I get pretty wrapped up in stuff I want to try and find answers to, hence all the posts and digging around.

With all the talk of selling books, while I'm not particularly interested in any of Wayne's writings, someone should put a nice plot and spin to this thread. I'd certainly buy that because regardless of the veracity of the whole thing, it has certainly been a good read.

Well write it off as more BS if you want but now there is talk of friend's of Judy's not being convinced it was her posting that I-got-it-all-wrong message on her FB page today and apparantly friends still cannot find her and are concerned.

I am co-managing the ECAN website on Ning that Judy created. Also there she hasn't been on the last 2 days, what is very abnormal. When she is planning to go away for a few days, she always contacts me before, so i follow up everything on ECAN untill she gets back. But now she didn't do ... See Morethat, and doesn't answer me.... As i know her, that is not normal... i'm worried also, it's not like her at all!

Terviseks, they'll never shut it down, because no one ever goes and looks at that stuff from NASA. Ames isn't a hotbed of SAH activity anyway, there's only about three people that still contribute.

It could mean *one way or the other we will know what the situation is*......there are likely plans for someone to go visit her house I guess or place of work. If she's not there, hasn't been seen, still can't get an answer on her phone etc then they will know something's really up potentially.

I read it as meaning they will know whether or not to start getting REALLY worried

No, no she quite clearly stated that she was receiving signals on radio telescopes in a UV band. Twice. Once by stating "UV", again by stating 210-400nm. Then she tried to say that UV emits radio signals to cover her tracks. Not to mention the other comments.

Again, how do you know? UC doesn't publish lists of graduates, sad to say, and her theses (two PhD's, right?) were never published. Nor any other papers. Nor did she ever present any material anywhere that listed her by name.

I don't have to discredit her, she's doing a dandy job.

edit: in a literal sort of way, there doesn't seem to BE a Spacecom Systems in Germany, there's TESAT-Spacecom GmBH, is that what you meant? Cause I'm going to see if I know anyone from there, see if there's any corroboration. It's a long shot, but I do know a wad of people in the biz.

Now, there is a domestic company Spacecom Systems, they sell you data links sort of like the Hughes DSS you can get for your house. Not exactly what I'd envision an astrophysicist doing but hey.
