UNITED NATIONS (May 3) -- The U.S. delegation walked out of a United Nations conference on nuclear nonproliferation during a speech by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in which he asserted Iran's right to enrich uranium for peaceful purposes and slammed Western powers, especially the U.S., for allowing Israel to maintain undeclared nuclear weapons.

Another staged act for favor Israel aggressive politics against Iran. Again

UN plays as kinderkarten where statesmans are acting like childrens... These thetrical moves are just to favor politics what are preplanned by warmongering hawkish, no matter what Iran does, or not.

Let the man speak - let negotiations roll... But no, there is war what these US/EU/Israelis are offering to us. No matter what.

We can expect those "peace negotiations" in Israel soon to be finnished without results, and summerwar is about to begin as planned. There is no diplomacy.

I was watching it from a stream another user on these forums linked in another thread. It certainly was a scene. Also Ban Ki Moon excused himself some time before the speech.

The UN has no legitimacy. It is a tool for more powerful countries to rubber stamp their imperialism on weaker nations. This is a continuation of the drums for Iranian war. What is sad is that the average American will view this event through the lens they have been programmed with. How dare that muslim ahmenijad dare to challenge 'merica! We need to protect to Israel. Show them terrorists 'merica don't take nothin from no one. This mentality will justify another war, and another bloodbath. It never enters anyone's mind to further scrutinize the history of Iran and the US, or whether Iran has a legitimate point.

Damn right this is not the way handle diplomacy - US should take a deep lesson from Russia and Putin how to deal with foreign and defence politics. I thin we didnt see any SCO or BRIC countries making these walk outs?

I couldn't see them all. There was a lot leaving.

The only ones I know stayed for certain are the African Union. Their member was looking at everyone else aghast as they got up and left.

Because Ahmadinejad didn't make ridiculous comments about those countries. It was the usual anti-American and zionist ranting that goes over the top. Ahmadi even welcomed the 13th Immam Mahdi to arrive shortly - an islamic prophet that they believe arrives during the end times to destroy their enemies.

They always walk out of his speeches, nothing new here and nothing will change because of it.

Well we don't know who did those attacks. But some people are very angry about the prospect of war with Iran.

I have to admit seeing everyone walk out during a speech by Iran at a nuclear summit was very annoying for me.

I feel dirty for being associated with countries that want to attack Iran for little reason and keep invading countries and killing for oil and drugs and money.

If/When we attack Iran we will not be doing a good thing.

I'm not in any way implying the people that died in those attacks should have. I hate that they did have to die for nothing they didn't do anything wrong either.
