Seeking for truth? Come on in!

It seems today, that no matter where you turn, the side of the coin is the same. Almost as if the whole system was created to steer you away from the truth, but in such a way that at any time, you can choose to let go.

Let's go down the rabbit hole for a bit...

We have science and religion.

Both try to explain who we are, where we came from, and where we are going. Science tells us that the universe was created by the Big Bang and that we evolved from primates. That universe is mechanical and we live, die, end of story.

Religion tells us that there is a higher power external from us who is either malicious or benevolent depending on our actions. If we do good things, we will go to heaven. Otherwise, we will go to hell, forever. In other words, God will change his opinion of you and either reward or punish.

Next we have the media.

The media, whether it be Television, Newspapers, Websites (Including ATS), books, all attempt to ENTERTAIN you. That is their purpose. To Entertain. Even "intellectual" television shows (discovery, history) are for entertainment. We are glued to these forms of entertainment, further steering us away from the truth.

Next we have the "soldiers" of the false-truth.

These are regular people, just like you and me. They are your neighbors, your friends, your family, your "authorities". All these individuals will do whatever it takes to steer you away from the truth. They will invite you to parties, social gatherings, tell you what is acceptable and what is not. What to wear, how to think, who to be, what to do. Always, all the time. For the sake of distracting you from the truth.

Next we have Government.

This system tells you what you can not do, for the sake of bringing "peace" and "freedom". But in reality, the system is there to further "infringe" upon your rights. I place the word infringe in parenthesis because they don't REALLY infringe upon your rights. They use the element of fear to get people to follow orders. You are the one that chooses whether or not to follow the "law".

Next we have YOU.
You are confused. You don't know where you came from, where you are going, or what you should do. You see others and follow the crowd. The fear within you is so profound, that you tremble in fear when you see a police car. You get nervous around people dressed "better" than you. You feel as if you have to conform because if you don't, you fear what would happen if you did not. Loss of friends, depression, etc etc. You know that the way society functions is incorrect, but you still do it anyways. You know there are things that are considered "unfair", but you sit quietly in your chair waiting for someone to save you. Waiting for someone to come up to you and tell you it will be alright. You wait for someone like Ron Paul to get into office but know deep down that he's just another agent of the anti-truth. You patiently wait, and nothing. You seem to have wasted your life living in temporary pleasure. You desire to find purpose, but would rather not think about it. You desire to change the world, but you do nothing. You argue with your friends about the problems in the world, yet, you do nothing.

Next we have the ego.

The ego is the thing within you that begs to be better than everyone else. That voice in your head that tells you it's okay, even though it's not. The ego controls every aspect of your life. From the beginning, the ego is always looking to fulfill itself. When presented with a choice, the ego will always choose the option that rewards, rather than the one that does not. We are living in the age of the ego, where individuals feel they are better than other because they: have more money, are better looking, go to a better school, have a better job, is rich, and so on... you know EXACTLY what the ego is.

Next we have the relative truth.

So what do we do? We know that the way we are living presently is not going to get us no where. With so much chaos, it is almost impossible to see where we are headed. So what can we do?

Love. Love everything and everyone. Treat your neighbor as yourself. The rule of all rules. The Golden Rule. Do thing for the sake of bestowing on others, and not the reward. Everything else will fall into place. It's obvious. We know it to be truth. So love... love friend! What's wrong with love?


Lastly, we have the absolute truth.

The truth is that you will never find the truth in television, a newspaper, a magazine, a book, a website, or in this thread. Even if there is undeniable evidence of the existence/nonexistence of God (or anything for that matter), do not believe it. Never. Only YOU can find truth. Have you found it yet?
