Today is my 1000th Birthday!

It's hard for me to believe, but this will be my 1000th thread.

This is what ATS looked like when I first arrived here on July 17, 2004:



ATS has been called many things....business...front...community...cointelpro...home.

For me, this special place is my virtual "town square" with all of the diversity, strangeness, wonder and inspiration of the real thing.

When I first came to this board, I was a 'n00b' in the purest sense. I had zero experience with online forums and even less with conspiracy topics. Admittedly, I found many of the (insert obligatory Australian accent here) "aliens ate my baby" threads wacky and ridiculous. But over time, even those have grown on me. If nothing else, they entertain.

Because I think ATS is a rather special place, I hope many of my threads contributed something meaningful to the crowd...even if also just to entertain.

It occurs to me that ATS isn't really just a single town square, but multiple town squares....town squares with memory...and for the most part a good measure of civility.

That's cool.

Thank you, ATS, for welcoming me to your town square(s). Thanks to the ownership and mods. You've done a hell of a job building and maintaining the structure!

I thought this was for your 1000's post, and I was gonna be like " Dude, you have RL issues if you haven't posted more than 1000 times in 6 years". lol

I always do like your content.

The screenshot is pretty funny. The top right " Submit to ATS through Picture-Phone!".

I've found some of your threads genuinely fascinating and extremely helpful in my time here especially in my earliest days the A Guide to BBCode on ATS thread which is just great!

Also nice screenshot of what ATS use to look like.
