Hmmm...let me think. Ground level looking up.
What could it possibly be. It isn't very far above the ground. Barely above the trees....
A bird maybe?
Why does every single little blip on an image have to be posted here as a UFO?

Amazing. The UFO shadowed the Google Earth camera the entire length of Candlestick Drive! It also appears in the same quadrant all over town. It is obviously a piece of dirt on the lens.

cant be a bird because its stationary.. each picture no matter where u move down the street the object or thing is still in the same spot as if it were just hovering.

birds dont just stay in the same spot.

Im sure by the time the google maps car got from one side of the street to the other side, the bird would be long gone. but that object remains in the same spot.

try it, try moving down the street.

BeautifulLife.....

I've inserted the picture for convenience.

I think it's something on the lens of the camera.....perhaps a drop of water or dirt / debris, or something like that.

I don't think there's any sort of flying craft in the air.

Hello,
I took a look. Why is the pic all flubbed? The trees indicate that the viewer is not being shown the reality of what's being viewed. It's clearly been blurred, on purpose!

I'm referring to this link; maps.google.com...,-95.677068&sspn=51.974572,114.169922 &ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Conservation+Dr,+Windsor,+Essex+County,+Ontario,+Canada&ll=42.278202,-82.988952&spn=0.002993,0.006968&z=18&layer=c&cbll=42.276704,- 82.989967&panoid=1z9WsJG6KRFS5iSh1ljp3Q&cbp=12,7.27,,0,-47.86

OK,
I admit I didn't move the image the first time I looked at it. And I posted too quickly. Sorry for that.

After moving the street view all over the place here is what I see.

The dot is there for the entire yellow streets on the map. You can move the street view to anywhere along your yellow line and still see that.
If you move it to a street that is not along the yellow route, the image is not there.
Further more, the entire upper view is blurred out from the yellow line route, also bluffing out whatever the blip is.
If you look at the sky though from something other than the yellow route, the sky is not blurred, and is very sharp.
I'm not fully sure why that is.
However, if you zoom the map out a little further, you will see that the location you had pinpointed is actually just a little over a mile away from the Windsor Airport. And it is directly inline with the shorter of the 2 runways there.
My guess is that it is something to do with the blurred out part and that particular street view from the yellow streets.

OK. I got a better view without the blur. Using the same link, go to 3110 Fairlane Crescent street view. At the 11:00 position of North pan up until you see the street lamp. It's below-left of street lamp. The sun is at right. You can't miss it. It's really high up, so it's out of focus, but it's definitely there!

Good looking-out OP!

ETA ;Use the link from my previous post. Park the camera at the house where the washing machine is out in the driveway...At 3110 Fairlane Crescent.

I went to that address, but I still see the entire top view blurred including that blip. The only places I see that aren't blurred out don't have that blip.

OK..now I am curious....

Hello,
Enter 3110 Fairlane Crescent, Windsor, Ontario, Canada into google search. Turn to the North-Northwest, where the washing machine is. Pan up two or three clicks, voila!

It is still blurred to me. I even tried a different computer so there was no possibility of a cached image. If I were paranoid, I would think they have blocked that image from view on purpose....but I'm not...
am I?

I can't explain it, but I still don't think this is anything extraterrestrial.

Hello,
Hey, it's all good. I can't really be mad that the OP left the thread so soon. Heck, I killed my own thread yesterday. But, I still wonder, ya' know?

To each his own. Have fun and enjoy the forums, I know I do. Take care.

Go to Sydney or Walker Roads. The blob is there, too. It's on the lens. These images are taken with a big dome shaped lens from a moving car. They are always blurry around the edges. Nothing is blocked out. The yellow lines indicate the path the camera truck took, which is why not every street has a street view,

What is it about out-of-focus things this evening!

Spot on the lens as DJ points out.
