UFO in Atlanta - 10 minutes ago

REALLY odd craft... It was silver/shiny on one side, and it appeared to be tumbling - without changing its position in the air. I looked at it for a good 5 minutes, called my wife out - she saw it and couldn't make head's or tails of it either. I grabbed my Nikon DSLR to get some photos, and every picture I took showed a blank sky!!!

I could NOT capture this craft digitally - it was simply missing from the pictures!

Sorry I don't have any hard-proof to share, but I thought you'd be interested in the story nonetheless

Wow, try to get some conformation from sources down that way. Airport, 911 etc.

I heard about tumblers before, maybe....

AND SAVE THAT PHOTO!!!!! There are some very good ATS members that would love to look at that I am sure. Just because you can't see it doens't mean it wasn't there.

Also, be sure to document everything: Time, direction (start/ending), alitude, weather, everything you can think of. Also, be sure to mark the spot you were standing and the direction you were facing. Do it now before you forget any details.

You maybe the missing link to a big story/visual etc.

Sounds like a very vampire like space craft. Not being able to be captured digitally sounds like a technological progression indeed. Please do get some conformation on your story, and see if any locals might have seen the same craft.

There are a bunch of air force bases around atl. I have been driving on 85 and seen two f-16 escorting an f-22. Another time I saw a plane that I could'nt 'name, and did'nt look like anything I have ever seen. Sounds like they were testing some secret plane.

I didn't see anything so far today.....Dobbins may have something to do with it....never know!

Wow, crazy!!! I am right by Dobbins AFB and I see fighter jets dogfighting and C-130s regularly, but nothing like what you describe...I'll keep my eye on the sky and report if I see anything. My brother has an HD video camera so I'll make sure to get it rolling if I see something.

You said it was tumbling but not moving?...weird

1.You were looking at Venus.
2.You were seeing a weather balloon.
3.You were hallucinating, and so was your wife.
4.Your camera is telling the truth..lol

Actually I saw a report that Atlanta's air quality has gotten a whole lot better. you may see all kinds of stuff your not use to seeing.

it could be that that when you snapped a photo the thing ( ufo )
flipped in a way that light did not reflect off it etc..I don't know but
it seems possible...
they say the hand is quicker that the eye..maybe even the camera eye.
keep a video camera ready maybe just in case.

That is very curious indeed. I have an aunt around there. I'll call her and find out if there were any reports.

It is May 22, 2010 and I saw an object this afternoon (about 4:30 pm EST) like the one described above. I was in Marietta, GA looking to my southeast and witnessed a flying object that at first I believed to be a plane. However, this object was moving in an erratic motion - it was making a see-saw-like swinging motion. When it would sway toward my direction, it appeared to be perfectly circular and dark grey in color, when it swayed in the opposite direction, it appeared to have a domed top with a bright shimmery metallic appearance. The top also somewhat appeared to be rippled, or non-uniform in shape.

The object - while swaying to and fro - was moving with frequent direction changes (in a zig zagging motion) and was moving rather slowly. I tried to rationalize this object as some type of silvery balloon, but no balloon under the influences of the atmosphere moves with the ability to change directions repeatedly - only an object being propelled can exhibit such behavior.

I have never witnessed a human-created flying object that was circular in shape and am unaware of any that have been developed. I cannot explain what I saw and have never witnessed anything even remotely similar. I'm wondering if anyone else in northern Atlanta had witnessed this object today.

What do you mean by, "Human"? there would be NO human created UFO..maybe...but IF there were, we would have no knowledge of knowing how to fly it, never the less make it "invisible".
