Regardless, making a prediction like that is easy.

It may or may not happen. There is enough historical precedence with other nations that it is a plausible prediction. That also means anyone with half a brain who reads history could make the same prediction.

I predict in the next 50 years that China and the EU break up.
I predict in the next 50 years we will have a third world war.
I predict in the next 50 years that the UK will become a republic.

You don't have to be psychic to make those kinds of predictions. They are plausible based on historical precedence. It doesn't mean they will happen though, just plausible.

I think it will be much less than 50 years.

The steps to form the US and Canada and Mexico into a North American union have already started. If the globalists fail the US will probably fail as well.
