This is a very disturbing article and shows how easy it is for virus to recombine creating deadly strains which may infect humans not only birds. As we have seen with the human Bird Flu.
As Professor Poss states 'the use of live virus vaccines creates a persistent level of the vaccine strains in the global bird population. This raises concerns that modified live virus vaccines may combine with circulating viruses to create unpredictable new strains, vaccine developers need to be aware of the potential for driving virus evolution using modified live viruses and should instead consider using killed or inactivated viruses' "When viruses don't change, it is typically a good thing," Poss explained. "But as soon as they start to change, like the flu, we don't know what the transmission and disease potential are going to be like from one year to another. So driving up viral diversity is not a good thing."

This truly makes sense ,though the agenda of some may think different.

This is particularly worrying considering the new nasal spray vaccine delivery systen used for the Swine Flu and Seasonal Flu, is made from attenuated live virus.
