Spirituality is the main cause of domination on this planet. In my own experience and understanding, there is no higher authority over us. It's all part of the "matrix", to maintain perpetual domination over the human race. But mankind must go through and finish the "soul" experience before it can move on to other spheres of evolution.

The physical experience is only a step in evolution. It may take a few lifetimes (incarnations) to complete the "learning" process but it's the way it works.

The main "canal" used by entities of the astral world to perpetuate domination is through "egoic" desires. Any egoic desire maintains domination, either spiritual or material.

My theory is because everyone wants change. We have been living the same lifestyle every day of our lifes. Its kind of scary, but when you almost die or something goes bad, you get a excitment high if you will. Believe it or not in a sick way a diaster would be fun. Doing whatever you want and what not. Thats just my theory.

I just want to point out one contradiction there, you say there is nothing higher than us, yet at the same time talk of the "matrix" as you put it having dominion over us.

How do you reconcile that?

In my understanding the path to the next level, in whatever tradition you care to call, is through learning and understanding. Which is this world, is perpetuated with duality in ever form, means that in order to move forward we have to master duality, others may say it is fear. but it all stems from the same root.

Getting back to the original post, the obsession with disaster could be a mechanism to remind us of our goal, in that at any time we can be gone and its game over for us, and back to the starting post (of you believe in reincarnation). So maybe, just maybe it's is a built in mechanism to help us recognize danger, and to help deal with it. an extension of the fight of flight.

I agree 100% everyone also wants change, but is change good? is the grass always greener?

My old boss used to say that the only thing that is constant is change, and that is true, but whether it is good or bad is entirely subjective and determined by your world view.

So what change do you want? and how do you feel whenever disaster strikes,

I am just out to challenge peoples thinking, not to change their minds in anyway, but just to get them to justify their resoning, rather than it being justy an idle comment.

When you break the process of manipulation, there is no higher authority above you. But if you do not break this process, then you remain in a state of domination. Higher conscious states is the key here, but it's not an ego based decision. Your higher self (cosmic counterpart) knows when this change must begin.

I think it's just morbid curiosity.

Even if you are on a road with backed up traffic due to an accident, and upset because you are being delayed, once you get to the accident, you're going to look!
